Just a year ago his beautiful mother was living on the streets of Thailand after a life of being used for breeding. We found her scavenging around for food. To see Sienna now in Wales, on daily walks in the forests and being spoiled rotten is the thing of absolute dreams.

It is absolutely wild that people are discussing how being rude to #AI could cause people to become more intolerant in real life, but NOT discussing how bots and commenters/influencers on #social media are making the actual society that #LLMs are trained on intolerant and hateful in the first place.

The degradation of British politics has either made Suella Braverman – a former *attorney general* – this stupid and irresponsible, or else entirely indifferent to appearing as such to those who know the law if it gets her applause from her online fan base.

*walks into interview* interviewer: (smugly) well I'm glad to see you didn't bring an iced coffee ... but who's your friend? me: oh this is my barista

I am a peri menopausal single mother working and volunteering If you fail to hire me over needing iced coffee because my internal thermostat is stuck on high, best believe that may be the last interview you ever hold. You may wish you had invited a honey badger into the room,it would be safer for you

Kai Ryssdal@kairyssdal.bsky.social

I’m sorry, but if you bring an iced coffee - or any damn beverage at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

Politicians should be careful what they wish for whilst not in Govt If campaign for release of a knifeweilding,ex kidnapper who rallies men to block infrastructure gives defence to all-legal precedent If they end up responsible for the infrastructure what will they do when defence quotes that?

My brother in law works in Boots in Oxford. Twenty years ago he saw a small, shabbily dressed man in a large woolly hat looking shifty near the sunglasses. Presuming a shoplifter, he got the security guard to escort him out the store. It was Thom Yorke

The arts are for everyone..

Never been to the opera before? Now’s your chance. We’re giving away 70,000 free tickets to the @metopera at the iconic Lincoln Center. Go to on.nyc.gov/opera to enter the lottery. There’s not a bad seat in the house.

When are they gonna make gynae instruments less pointy/ouchy? I for one have had enough of being made into a giant human popsicle.. We’ve flown to the moon but still shove a Bose soundbar up there to check a uterus is healthy. Get the feeling these may not have been designed by uterus owners.

This is like a parody of politics it really is. I apparently have claimed economic asylum in a city for over 20 years by that measure.Should have made me stay, put up with it. Send me back! Do I deserve preferential treatment for wanting to earn more in a city than the small town of my birth!!🤦‍♀️

In May of 1940 there was a mass panic in Britain - stirred up by the tabloid press - about 'fighting aged men' who had come to Britain as 'refugees' posing a threat to the women and children of this country - and essentially forming a 'fifth column' that could, at any moment rise up against everyone

“Concern” is a term being used interchangeably for disorder - that breeds more disorder The lack of challenge against the attacks on the RNLI is puzzling An age of “feelings” based politics has overtaken fact. The fact is if you attack volunteers for a lawful charity, the public expect response

Folks is this going on where you live? Restaurant/cafe closures, even ones you thought were super profitable, just gone? And is it down to Covid loans now becoming payable after 5 years? Must be a better solution- lost a fistful of restaurants in 2 weeks it seems (Spoons unaffected, naturellement)

Another exciting installment of guess what petrol costs today. A 5p jump last week narrowly averted thanks to some geopolitical prediction. Sadly,as a broke single parent, can’t store or fill jerry cans. £2.04 a litre - how am I supposed to afford a second hand electric car and run this one?

£2.07 this morning. Another 3p in 2 days. If this carries on it will be up 10p a litre in a week. Theres some real questions to answer here about the cost of living. For working class people and trades this is disastrous.

Is the risk of instant death statistically more likely due to climbing up a traffic light or a motion sensor… just a thought

R4 #Today programme,Badenoch v good at (interrupting) lauding Tory furlough in lockdown yet not describing who folk on “welfare” are Covid had long term impact-health and inequality effects Increased disability,MH, economic inactivity may be linked back to covid? So what changed except rhetoric?

Addendum:So Conservative’s proposed policy was fact checked-the figure Badenoch quotes for welfare cuts to fund defence includes state pensions. So it seems only every £1 in £10 is spent on working age welfare not 1 in 3 or 1 in 7 If you thought means testing Winter Fuel payment was controversial..
