Ry

Hello to bsky and the #writingcommunity on here! I'm a writer who started writing around 2015; currently drafting my Adult Paranormal #JumbieWIP. Among things that I like: Vampire The Masquerade/World of Darkness Retro Video Games PC Games Goth Culture Paranormal media Mysteries and Fighting games.

We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps: -It’s ‘sleight of hand’ -It’s ‘bated breath’ -It’s ‘lo and behold’ -It's 'buck naked' -It’s ‘brass tacks’ -It’s ‘free rein’ -It’s ‘toe the line'

You can find my books pretty much everywhere in paperback, hardcover, large print, ebook, or audiobook, though most bookstores probably need to order in a copy. Since it's a sequential series, you probably want to start with Eyrie (GryphIns 1) and work your way from there =] books2read.com/eyrie

In 2016, we published potentially the largest single feature to ever appear in Game Informer magazine with a full oral history of the legendary studio, BioWare. We've made that feature available online following reports of the studio's impending closure. gameinformer.com/feature/2026...

I should go. www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-cG...

One more for the afternoon crowd. Two of the last lines of dialogue I wrote on the last BioWare game I shipped.

Bioware forever.

Tie In Novels and Novelizations are some of the best media within the book world and it's a shame we don't have more of them.

RIGHT OKAY YES I DID AGREE TO THIS so anyway! Are you working on a novel? Is the novel in early stages or not novelling the way you want? Do you want to work with me, a giant bug? If so, @clarionwest.bsky.social may have a program for you! www.clarionwest.org/clarion-west...

Had a great time listening to this and also hearing an audio exclusive story by Hailey and hearing Suzan's Edgar Allen Poe inspired tech horror short story!!

Today is the release day for DEVOURING FORTUNE, my Dune meets Elden Ring queer, dark science fantasy! Thank you everyone who has supported me through this process, and thank you to everyone who has showed up so far to read the book. You're the best. www.oleandercraw.com/devouring-fo...

100 percent on this and I'd go further to say we need to memorize more poems or at least write them down by hand.

To me writing prose is like a puzzle, a mystery, and a challenge that even when I try, there's always something missing but it's an invitation to much more to unearth and look over. Whether it's making character sheets or outlines, there's so much that goes into fiction that's satisfying on its own.

Binged this novella by @minillajovovich.bsky.social last night and damn did I love Wren plus the romance this. Plus this got me more interested in the sword and sorcery genre and to do a deep genre exploration of it. Also recommend it if you loved that scene from Deathstalker(1983).

Enjoyed reading this short story by @ela-bambust.bsky.social and I really wished this got a sequel or expanded into a novella. Or maybe an epilogue. But Louise and David are really cute and had me thinking this could be a great movie with charm. elajo.itch.io/who-are-you-...

A little sword and sorcery pinup @minillajovovich.bsky.social

Binged two wonderful short stories by @minillajovovich.bsky.social & enjoyed them a lot. One was a tragic romance & another was a cozy romance but definitely interested in seeing their S&S novella now. Also thanks to @darkchibishadow.bsky.social for the list I found them on. itch.io/c/5274853/tr...

Trans Authors, For Trans Awareness Month (exact dates Nov 1st-15th), I'm putting together a Trans SciFi & Fantasy Bundle. (Note: its best to submit a book you won't be using for my Trantasy & Queer Fantasy bundle, running Dec 20th -Jan something 😉) Sign up form: is on my discord or I can DM it!

I've created a blog post out of this if people want to bookmark it in case Bluesky goes the way of other socials. I also added one more slide that I just came up with for picture books.

I remember this one from the days of Pitch Wars and I'm excited it's finally going to be published! And I can't wait to read it or preorder it.

Yes to Encartacore!!

YESSSS this is my fave one www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QOU...

Did you know there's a "utopian scholastic" genre tag on Bandcamp that's all like synthy soundtracks from educational software and TV shows from the early '90s? (I want to make a joke about calling this "Encartacore", but I don't remember if Encarta had music.) trndytrndy.bandcamp.com/album/virtua

It’s my 33rd Birthday today and spent so far raking some grass and playing some Dawnwalker.

Happy Book Birthday to Hailey and glad one of my favorite authors released a book on my birthday!

FULLY ANIMATED EPISODE 1 IS OUT NOWWWW 🌟 youtu.be/6_7L80WaIuU?...

Little tense but hyped for attempting to do a short story in 8k for an anthology.

Ahahaha -- you all REALLY need to listen to this because I am getting people tagging me elsewhere with "OMG WICKHILLS is dark academia!" and it is not, it is a spy story in a hot mess of a weird city, BUT, is there a professor with a recent problem, and abuse (probably) of a grad student? YEP.
