Day 27: "Sleep paralysis"

Day 22: "Morgue"

Day 19: "Axe"

Thank goodness we kept our progressive-ish mayor and added some more progressive councilors. But also, this is very sweet (pun intended of course).

Thinking about the way to frame the cars as heroes was to make the enemies even worse, the military industrial complex.

Winners has Transformer knock offs. The 5 dinosaurs who make up King Warrior Mech are all good, but a Bronto named Slush is top of my list. The Deformation Fighting Robot has "Universal Interface" and "Cool Shape" These will fall apart easier than the box that holds them.

No sound, but the lights in the back from a cop car do work.

Anyone else going as Pumpkin Hill from Sonic Adventure 2 for Halloween this year or just me? 🎃⛰️ The costume has a treasure hunting minigame where you can move Knuckles across the “level” and the radar necklace will blink as you get closer to the hidden emerald in the pockets 💎 I love Halloween!!

I’m building a team.

One of the best show on television sounds like it's coming back hitting hard.

5 Days left! #Literaryagents, #editors, come find over 200 amazing kids-YA graphic novel pitches and #KidlitGN .com

I've been writing a monthly newsletter for 6 years now: each one ends with a link to a Cool artist's website (that is not an IG account). That's 72 Cool artists to discover SO FAR. The goal is to make a page on my website dedicated to the people who have inspired me. It's coming along!

Bookmark websites, make a list, create a blog roll, write down portfolio URLs in a text file, a blog post, a chat message, anything! Not only does it make you type/remember the artist's name (as opposed to scrolling by) but it encourages us to keep making and maintaining a website.

i say slow mind that child, takes 2 hours to watch sixty minutes

Took my students on a trip to Graffiti Alley & surrounding areas to talk about environmental storytelling. All the signs of the garment district, the security measures, the gentrifying vs street & community effects, the hidden people... One student happily said "I feel like a detective!" Sweet!

Share your art and nationality! Picking some pictures inspired by my city.

This 1-2 punch of Asgardian annuals I think was my introduction to Art Adams, who has the opposite of same face syndrome. So many well realized characters. Fun stories but the art was miles above what I was used to.

The amazing, but short-lived Vidiyo line had enough Daft-Punk adjacent pieces I made a little off-brand robot rock a while ago. The promise of new stuff to build is magnifique.

More spooky Halloween graffiti. Tattooist Erick Barrera's recent Day of the Dead mural #Toronto #StreetArt #Graffiti

For Marvel, I bought a module with the X-Men in it. It starts with all but one character in the danger room, and it says "take 1 player aside & let them know they are controlling the danger room for a fun reveal" Every time I tried, the other kids hounded us going to another room. Relentless aholes.

My first 5 TTRPGs Red Box D&D (read, never played) 1. Fighting Fantasy books Made Gamma World characters, never played 2. AD&D 3. Marvel Super Heroes (2 minutes before a fight broke out) 4. Spy game my friend made up Made Vampire characters, never played 5. West End Star Wars (1 time)

Do people not worry about rooms being musty anymore?
