She goes on to say literally nothing concrete about how any of these things work, just vague allusions to "science doesn't suggest that"

This kind of argument in particular is really annoying to me. “A non zero error rate”. MFer what do you think the error rate of the average human in the current administration is?

Saoirse is in an afterschool program, and today she excitedly told me all about the SMART test for evaluating the credibility of information (source, motivation, author, review, two-sources). I can think of a lot of adults who would benefit from this class designed for 4th and 5th graders.

The question is, HOW??? HOW did Nazi Germany re-arm so quickly??? Part of it was their unethical willingness to abuse slave labour. Part of it was with the covert help of the Soviets. Part of it was extensive debt, repaid via stolen gold. Part of it was occult knowledge, gained from the Beyond.

another detail about the dildo event that lives in my head rent free is that Pulte made his grand entrance via helicopter, but the ADS-B data revealed that what actually happened is the helicopter just took off from the hanger where the party was and landed in the same spot 1 min later

great question! I didn’t. Nate Simver convergently evolved from a sim who was tech interested but whose hobby was sports, and he spent all his time on the computer before wanting to start a sports blog. 🧵

so uhhhhh why did you make nate sim-lver

BlueSky is approaching such a level of dogmatic blindness to serious issues that it is becoming really difficult to enjoy. The level of 'this cant be happening because I think its bad' and 'you said something that conflicts with my world view so blocked' is really tiresome.

Using a customised and segregated section of Microsoft’s Azure platform to retain and analyze data using Artificial Intelligence (as a digital weapon), Israel has been able to intercept and record calls of every Palestinian.
