Obama: "The guy has become billions of dollars wealthier in office. Nobody disputes this! It's just -- how do you do that when you're supposed to be looking out for you? And the worst part of it not a single Republican in Congress has done anything to stop it."

Twenty-eight thousand, seven hundred stock trades while Trump sits in the Oval Office. Mark Kelly has made zero in six years in the Senate. Trump wants rules for everyone else, just not for the family getting richer while your grocery bill keeps climbing. #TrumpsAbuseOfPower

Parents, if you have dropped off a kid named Jimmy in the morning and picked up a kid named Janet at the end of the school day, please return to the school: You've driven off with some other family's child.

Trump: "They want to cut your children. It's unbelievable what they do. Your son leaves as Jimmy and comes home in three days as Janet, and they don't even ask you. They can take your child out of school and do whatever the hell they want. Minnesota is one of those states."

“Is his campaign doomed?” Oh the naivety and innocence. A cover from immediately prior to his 2016 election ‘victory ‘. Guessing this is just after “pussygate”

Trump’s obeisance to Putin has been established beyond even the vaguest scintilla of doubt; the possibility of another January 6-style assault on US democracy after/during the mid-terms is clearly acute and ‘we’ are still wary of calling fascism fascism. These are the moments…

Just so we’re crystal clear: Trump is now funding the murder of Ukrainian women and children to try and win the midterms. America is lost.

The United States is now officially allied with Vladimir Putin and Russia. We will fund Russia’s genocidal war machine in exchange for Putin helping Trump and the Republican Party in the midterms. One of the most shameful and disgusting days in the history of this Republic.

Vance’s attack here sums up their entire politics; they want to banish ALL opposition. Polarise the country. Good vs evil. It’s been tried and done before. Rise up, America.

This right here. This is how you respond to their bullshit.

Braverman has become a parody of herself. Hard to decide if this is genuinely unhinged behaviour or pure attention seeking. Might be both.

Donald Trump: "We're going to be signing a document renaming artificial intelligence to Super Intelligence. We will also be renaming measles to Happy Rash, the White House to Mar-a-Lago North, the Constitution to Trump Toilet Paper, and child rape to Republican Hug."

The degradation of British politics has either made Suella Braverman – a former *attorney general* – this stupid and irresponsible, or else entirely indifferent to appearing as such to those who know the law if it gets her applause from her online fan base.

What's most disturbing is not only the madman himself, but the treasonous behavior of the aiders & abetters in the Senate, the House, and the Supreme Court, all of whom have the power to stop him. #ProudBlue

It’s been quite the failure of imagination down the decades that fiction writers and film makers have created aliens from far off galaxies which destroys mankind. Instead of mankind INVENTING the means of our extinction.

The world’s mainstream and social media outlets need to stop focusing on Trump. He is a clinical narcissist and a seriously flawed person. Everything he says and does is for his sole gratification. He genuinely can’t help himself. Instead, each and every time there’s an announcement or a post…

or comment, focus should be on how and why he’s allowed to remain in post. It’s about the enablers. It’s about a public outcry. It’s about banging on the doors of elected representatives and making sane voices heard. It’s about loud voices screaming ENOUGH. The rest of the world needs this.

There shouldn't be one single American underneath the spell of these nazis but there are. The problem lies with our Congress and Senate. They have supported and hand delivered our country to a known monster. Vote them out.

It’s just occurred to me that Zelenskyy and Tяump are in the same position; they’re both in a war against regimes who have zero consideration for human casualties, especially their own. And they’re not democracies. They can go on and on. The difference being Zelenskyy didn’t choose his war.

Not that they would ever sink so low, but you wonder what Trump’s reaction would be if the Canadian government mocked up a similar meme showing all of North America as a giant maple leaf. It’s so disrespectful and moronic.

LOL. I get it for banks and credit cards, but for my grocery delivery service? I mean if you want to hack my supermarket account and order what I order (mostly cookies, crackers, and blintzes), I'm just going to feel sorry for you, rather than angry.

According to Nigel Farage, Iceland being in the EU Single Market, having free movement of people and belonging to Schengen is perfectly compatible with national independence. I look forward to him endorsing the same independence for the UK: back in the Single Market, with free movement and Schengen

The media and sane America should switch the focus away from Tяump. He can’t help all the crazy impulsive nonsense he says and does, we’ve become inured to it - and he enjoys the attention they receive. The focus instead needs to be on the enablers and supporters. When he does crazy shit, focus..

..on their reaction (or lack of), put it in their faces, highlight the absurdity and inappropriateness of the action rather than focusing on the action. Make them confront his ridiculous behaviour. Make them squirm. That’s the only way forward I can see.

Trump is of course a pathetic figure, I doubt he has much shelf life left in him. But I can't imagine how lacking in self-esteem his handlers and enablers are. How can they not cringe or be ashamed of this absurd farce?

The depressing thing about the US isn't Trump really. He's just a grotesque. It's the complete failure of all the things liberals believe in: Congress, the judiciary, the press, voters themselves, all persistently unwilling or unable to stop him. It's the failure of an entire society.
