Unfortunately a job offer I had fell through due to head count elimination so I am currently on the market for a new job! If you need someone with 11+ years of Rust, backend, and distributed systems experience I am your guy. Contact Email: michael@ductile.systems. Boosting appreciated!

I get that the votes aren’t there. So you do everything else. Investigations ruining their lives till they’re forced to step down, blocking everything Trump want, dead justice well we gotta wait till we appoint a new one etc. “We have to get stuff done” fuck right off

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

I just want them to rehire the whole studio with back pay, increased wages, then just let them cook

I appreciate that people want a new Mass Effect, but the future where fans advocate for the work itself and not the people who make it is the one the vultures at EA want. If you'll take it however you get it, they can keep treating people who make what you love as expendable.

Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

Goes to show First Past the Post is the dumbest of all electoral methods.

So how did Lula come from behind to defeat Bolsonaro? In short, turnout. Bolsonaro's vote share barely moved. But Lula banked millions of votes from those who didn't vote in the first round & won eliminated candidates' votes. A remarkable mobilisation. Second round turnout is usually below first.

Very big brained genius boy moments from the guys who supposedly read a lot about how ancient democracies failed. Very good job Founding Fathers

God I'm still so upset about Bioware being disbanded. That was like THE studio for me growing up. I remember playing through ME3 in my Freshman Dorm. I got others to play it all and fall in love with it. DA: Origins was the first game I played on a laptop that should not have been able to play it.

Same with ME2, my god I can't believe I beat that at like 15 fps on the hardest difficulty and let me tell you when the fps drops you don't get a health bar or a box to aim powers. You just have visual cues, sound, and a dream. Now it's just. Done.

Because of studio mismanagement with Andromeda (which I liked sorry not sorry), Anthem (I have and never will have flying mechanics as smooth), and Veilguard (which is all EAs fault for trying to make it a live service game with no vision) I am so upset.

We gotta tax these people more

We found that as of right now 73% of your campaign donation goes back to the consultants and vendors (!!!), four times more than just 20 years ago. Only 13% to ads. Even I was shocked.

Most of today’s societal ills can be traced to companies and owners of said companies who need the boot stomped so hard into their neck they can’t breathe and they’ll wish they had just paid taxes

That means they truly think the name can't carry a game anymore. Damn RIP. DA:O and Mass Effect are some of my all time favorite games
