Spending 4+ hours on Sunday afternoon writing a blog post (https://chrismcleod.dev/blog/my-changing-media-landscape/) only about 3 people will read? Sure, why not? It’s the blogger’s dilemma 📌 https://chrismcleod.dev/notes/202602011724/

Making websites smaller has tangible effects on the environment. “Shaving off a single kilobyte in a file that is being loaded on 2 million websites reduces CO2 emissions by an estimated 2950 kg per month.“ www.dannyvankooten.com/blog/2020/we...
444 stars is a really nice number! I never expected so much interest when I first published this starter, but then again, @bell.bz's underlying CSS system is just fantastic! github.com/madrilene/el...

This talk by @bell.bz is gold imo As a freelancer, you're expected to slot into an organisation and keep things moving with minimal friction. Keeping your head down and plowing through will only get you so far though and, to do great work, you have to prioritise planning & communication over coding
Next as part of our "every Monday" (assuming that Monday is any day of the week) on the #FFConf video release, @bell.bz speaks about communication. Andy does a great job of contrasting exchanges that can be tweaked from horrible & lazy, to, well, not crap: youtu.be/tHtFiciT2tQ?...
I love making websites for and with creative people, so that their work comes across in harmony with their personality. Alberto is a Spanish singer songwriter, and I recommend a listen, if you like some good pop/indie folk! www.albertoballesteros.com

This article by @ericwbailey.website on @piccalil.li is incredibly useful. It’s exactly how I prefer CSS articles to be written: starting with a problem, including clear illustrations, and offers a practical solution. Highly recommended 💯 piccalil.li/blog/making-...
