I'm glad they got the opportunity to take another stab at their vision. Phantom Liberty was a clear step up, and my favorite part of Cyberpunk so far

3 years ago today we shipped Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. For me, it was our final word on what we wanted Cyberpunk 2077 to be. Making it felt like group therapy. We had to rebuild confidence, rethink how we worked, and learn to trust ourselves again as creators.

Last month I had a lot of fun writing an LLM proxy for collecting telemetry in Langfuse. I played around with writing a Text-to-SQL agent that uses that observability. This is the first post in a series about how I am using observability to improve an AI tool. www.grokkist.com/blog/sql-age...

I’ll let that sink in for a bit: Apple, a MULTI-TRILLION $ company is trailing behind Mozilla, a nonprofit orders of magnitude smaller. This becomes more egregious if you consider that Safari is the only browser that a sizeable chunk of web users (~14%) are *forced* to use with no way out.

Lea Verou, PhD@lea.verou.me

True, it’s not always WebKit that’s behind! In fact, here is some data: webstatus.dev/stats#missin... As of today, the number of features blocked by each browser is: - Safari: 55 - Firefox: 50 - Chrome: 12 I’ll let you draw your own conclusions…

The Subnautica 2 drama is far dumber than I thought.

Raffi Melkonian@rmfifthcircuit.bsky.social

Guys, this subnautica case is incredible. I’m reading now and will clip here. I know nothing about the issues - all I know about the game is from the opinion. Ok, bigger company buys video game studio, and promises founders a bonus for their new game. /1 courts.delaware.gov/Opinions/Dow...

Could it be useful down the line? Maybe. But as it stands it's a bad "yassify" filter and it should be called out as such.

It's a crime that No Other Choice wasn't even nominated for an #oscar, as it was my top film of 2025. It's particularly baffling that it wasn't even in the foreign film category, as it could have competed for best picture.

One CSS property just killed every auto-resize textarea script you've ever written. Seriously, one line. The property is field-sizing: content

...and fully test all of the components ...and switch from jsdom to vitest browser mode ...and integrate biome.js Code quality improvements like this are a "quick and easy" must when using AI tools on intricate code projects.

The Post was foolish enough to unleash a bevy of the world’s most talented multi-disciplinary journalists out there for their competition to scoop up. These are some of the most hard working and skilled people I know. Save this one and reshare it please! πŸ“Š

Ah, the new v0.dev is really impressive. With just a vague input prompt and a couple follow ups it managed to create the landing page for a browser extension, complete with a working download link :|

I don't really know what to feel when these leaps and bounds in AI dev happen. I've been spending the past week or so rennovating my old GIF generation extension, and it's admittedly in better shape than the "demo" one I just prompted with v0...

...but the difference in time spent is staggering. Upsetting, even. I guess it's time to read through the generated code to see how far it is from production quality.

Today I was one of the many laid off from the Post. It is a dark day for news. For now I am going to take some time with my family before figuring out where I go from here. In the meantime, please consider supporting my colleagues. Any contribution helps: www.gofundme.com/f/standing-t...

Well, this new Google "nano banana" image generator sure is something. It's capable of easily editing the contents of photos with remarkably accurate and stable results For instance, in the following pair of images: "Add a line of people, including a mascot" #nanobanana
