After all the drama abt this “new ad” Cenk Uyghur’s group was dropping in Michigan and how it was tied to Netanyahu starting Iran War … he just grabbed & tried to get more mileage from an ad he made for his failed 2024 prez run when he was blaming egg prices on Israel. See the date of the tweet.

If they voted, that's a crime and it's wrong – no matter who they voted for. But it sure would be interesting to know their party registrations. Also, MAGA people, who are usually quick on the draw on such things, haven't mentioned party registrations.🤔 Note, 2 people arrested in PA are from Cuba…

… and Cubans as a group are big Trump supporters. > Again, voting by non-citizens is illegal. > When MAGAs say, "Every vote by a non-citizen cancels a citizen's vote" – that could be true, but maybe they cancel out each other's vote. IOW the MAGA presumption that they all vote Dem might be wrong. 😳

HHS wants a new Medicare code that pays doctors extra only when they attribute a patient’s symptoms to a vaccine. Vaccine critics say doctors are paid to push vaccines. We aren’t. Under this code, we’d be paid to blame them. My new piece in @cidrap.bsky.social: www.cidrap.umn.edu/childhood-va...

I don't know that there is a definitive line to cross that makes you say, "I live in a police state now" but when masked gunmen can routinely brutalize the public, citizen or immigrant alike, with impunity, you have reached that point.

3.6 points is actually lower than the average historical error on vote margin of second-round polls in Brazil

themonolithmedia.bsky.social@themonolithmedia.bsky.social

Final TSE count: Lula 51.79%, Flávio Bolsonaro 48.21%, turnout 80.8%. That's a 3.6-point win off averages you describe as roughly tied. Do you read it as late movement or a polling miss?

It's interesting that Musk has replaced the Koch Bros as the big political funder the left hates, while Soros has not really been replaced as the right's hate figure. In any case, all these guys lose many battles. Money isn't everything in politics.

In Brazil, it appears that voters who opted for eliminated first-round candidates roughly broke even in the runoff (even if the candidates leaned right). But the big difference was: Millions of voters who cast 'null' or 'blank' ballots in the first round then voted for Lula.
