Flying home from @deepdishswift.com and overcome with how special this event is. I’m not eloquent (or rested 😄) enough to put it properly into words. But my word, what a gift @joshdholtz.com and his family have given our community

Just got home from @deepdishswift.com, can't thank @joshdholtz.com and Kari enough. Thank you! A great conference with excellent folks. Got the opportunity to talk about building apps for customers before you ship to the App Store.

I've spent weeks working on this big release of Please Don't Rain and it's finally out today. I made a thread that shows the most significant changes.

Please Don't Rain is starting the year off with a big update! Version 5.20 is rolling out now. The UI of the main forecast has a fresh new look which adjusts much better to some sizes and orientations.

Glad that @joshdholtz.com is no longer making me keep this secret! I’ll be giving an updated rendition of AI (Without the Hype), to account for how much has changed in AI since I gave the talk in… *checks notes* September 2025. And of course I’ll be teaching many evergreen AI lessons as well.

📣 Speaker Announcement The title might say "Without the Hype" but there is big hype for this speaker as he's been a huge part of this community 🎉 We're so excited that @mergesort.me will be on the Deep Dish stage this year giving us a much needed talk on AI 🙌

👀👀👀

📣 Keynote Speaker Announcement We're thrilled to have @mbbischoff.com as a Deep Dish 26 keynote speaker 🎉 In "Transitions", mb explores major shifts in Apple’s history (ARC, Swift, SwiftUI) alongside personal transition, offering insight on navigating change in tech, careers, and life.

It’s less than half now. See y’all there. 😉

No, but for real, @deepdishswift.com is amazing. Highly recommended as a conference, as a way to meet cool folks AND as a way to enjoy Chicago and our many pizzas (but especially deep dish).

Half of the remaining Early Bird tickets were taken yesterday! Will you get yours today? 👀
