I’ve been reading Starter Villain by @scalzi.com out loud to my wife and my 3 year old (with some selective word alterations for small ears) as a way to pass the time in this multi day power outage. It’s been a fun read so far!

I do suspect my fish won’t survive the power outage though. Their water is getting too cold and I can’t do anything to fix that. Only time will tell.

This power outage is fixin’ to be the longest I’ll have experienced in my life, which is honestly amazing considering it’ll be 1-3 days, very lucky to have such consistent access to electricity overall. The food in the fridge is a loss, the freezer food is TBD based on how much longer power is out
