Before today I was only seeing Bsky app notifications if someone liked or replied to MY posts. After relaunching subs.blue today, I'm going to get a lot more little blue dots of dopamine. Notifications are strange on this app, & require a lot of opting-in. That's good, but also wasn't very obvious.

Realized today that I had no idea how "subscriptions" or really "notifications" worked on this app. TIL that you have to opt-in to other people being able to get notifications when you post/reply. I get why this is a toggle, but not why its default is opt-out and not in??
