i have really come to the view that partisanship is to be embraced wholesale. partisanship and principle but not purity.
Woke 2 needs Democratic leaders to remember that the Federalists and anti-Federalists hated each other. Get that attitude toward Republicans and talk accordingly. They are your colleagues working against everything you stand for, not good-intentioned, misguided friends.

5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open. Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.

I would trade ten years of my life for a competent Democratic party. Who convinced Booker this was a good idea?
We can’t just be the party of no. We need big ideas to help working people get ahead. Here’s one from me: no tax on your first $75K of household income, a bigger child tax credit, and ending tax loopholes exploited by billionaires and big corporations.

Please do not let Gaby's tantrum over getting the attention she wanted distract you from the amazing Minneapolis legal observers, protestors, organizers, and aid givers (all while also under federal occupation because they're just that good)

Special for my friends in the media! Before you use numbers from a new DHS “economic impact analysis” in reporting on a new Trump prison camp, please consider that these reports appear to be (to use a technical term) horseshit. Helpful explanation here: projectsaltbox.substack.com/p/federal-ec...

I think what’s funny to me here is that people make up really specific-sounding shit (“I eat one egg a day and would notice if it went up by 2%”) and then call Stancil pedantic when he does the math problem *they literally created to sound rigorous.*
If you're eating one egg a day, a 2% increase in egg costs raises your egg spending by about two dollars annually. You'd notice this?

But we didn't have economic stagnation for the working class. We had a period of unusually *high* wage growth for low income workers.
AOC on why Trump returned to office: "when you have economic stagnation, for the working class that, especially in an environment where GDP is growing, that is the stuff of populist movement. The choice is what direction those populist movements can go."
