This is the yapping account. The whole vibe of their setting is about a quarter+ of the population is born with superpowers but it's a very recent thing. Like. This is the first generation to experience it and when the story starts most kids with powers are 15 at the very oldest.

a cool thing about indie animation is that it's expected to save the entire industry, every show has to look better than the things the fans grew up on or it's a waste of time, there's no union to be found anywhere, no budget for any of it, and asking the audience to pay anything to watch is illegal

I used to get caught on all the ways my trans experience wasn't "standard" (like the fact that I've always related more to women, had more female friends, had plenty of feminine interests, played female characters in games, etc) but the older I get the less I think that matters.
