When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

The small handful of Democrats running anti-trans ads should be embarrassed now and will be embarrassed in time. I've been saying it and still think it — www.lawdork.com/p/dangerous-... — and people who compromise in this way will change or won't be leaders, even if they are in office.

If only someone had been saying for years, that if you throw one group under the bus, it becomes easier to then throw other groups under the bus. Oh wait! Trans people said that…!!!!

I felt I really needed to write about Rowling's essay, not because it's new, but because it's so poisonous and ugly that it felt like sanitizing her not to acknowledge it on my trans news site.

It's always "You should vote for the person taking your rights away," and never "Hey, maybe the 'good guys' shouldn't be throwing minorities under the bus."

It is neither extreme nor asking too much to expect Democrats to endorse the pre-Trump status quo on LGBTQ+ rights.

This is big news. Ending the puberty-blocker ban in New Zealand is massive. It puts Cass & the entirety of Labour’s flagship anti-trans policies in doubt. Yet no mainstream media platform has even mentioned it. Indeed most alternative media, like @bylinetimes.bsky.social have failed to mention it.

Trans people are approximately 1 percent of the population. There are more than 100 women's medals in every Olympic games, which means if trans women were exactly equivalent to cis women they'd win a medal in every Olympics.

Robert Dillon was wrongly arrested for trying to lure a child out of a McDonald's in a city he'd never been to — all because Jacksonville Beach police trusted a false facial recognition match. Their errors cost him his livelihood and sense of security. We're demanding an apology and justice.

These anti-trans Dems are saying "biological males" should be banned from girls sports because they know exactly how bad it sounds if they say "transgender girls" should be banned from girls sports. They're using "biological males" framing as a sort of self-justification and self-soothing.

"Trans people are a tiny group with no power" This isn't true, and I hope my trans readers can internalize this. You are more powerful than you think. Trans and gender expansive people are 2.34% of the US population in the latest survey. That is more than enough to swing a race.

This is where "it's just trans sports bans" leads you, Democrats supporting overtly genocidal policies that would kill tens of thousands of trans people. But at least we'll be marched into the camps by someone in blue, right?
