Everyone who is saying "Dems in red states have to throw trans people under the bus to win" -- no. They don't. When they do that, we just start with no winning options on the table. It gives in to the fascist premise that we get to decide some groups don't get rights. THIS is what I want to see.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights: “I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”

Actually it’s a perfect synthesis of the not-at-all conflicting desire to be Kronk. Do you think Kronk wouldn’t eat a protein cookie. Do you think Kronk wouldn’t *bake* protein cookies.

“protein enriched chocolate chip cookie” is kinda the perfect synthesis of the conflicting american male desires to be a spartan warrior and also five years old

Someone in my neighborhood recently got dogs that bark their goddamn heads off if another dog goes by their yard while they’re outside. Unfortunately that someone is me.

We are making the Tesla Roadster sentient in order to increase the amount of suffering in the world. All things must be forced to enter samsara so they may one day leave

What can you say? This was the definite winner they will never top. Also one of the best things I've seen at any PRGE #PRGE #PRGE2026

It's called the locomotive. And we're gonna drive it right through your god damn bedroom.

Why do bash willy wonka for mangling all those kids but we never question if the child has bad vibes? Or if they’re just unpleasant to be around?

Best bike I've ever had in my life but I'll be getting the new seat post thank you

#Recall: Gazelle USA Recalls Urban Arrow Cargo Electric Bikes; The front bolt in the seat post clamping mechanism can break, causing the seat to become loose, posing a fall hazard. Get repair. www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2027...

Spent 45 minutes today watching a hermit crab trying to decide whether to change shells. Don’t tell me I don’t know how to have a good time

I live here! You might even say I chose Texas. and I haven’t heard the dang song! Or if I did it made no impression whatsoever

1: i had never heard of her or this song, still haven't heard it. also still haven't heard let it go from frozen or baby shark 2: maybe modern country music shouldn't have acted like that if it didn't want people to avoid it as cultural signaling. it knows what it did.

I guess that does say something about me. It says I’m 41 years old and I haven’t been obligated to know the song of the summer since I rode the bus to high school

I’ve now listened to the song. I can see why people like it. It has all the ingredients: heartache, catchy chorus, mentions Texas, mentions cowboys, mentions two-stepping.

Thank you everyone for participating in this week's BlueSky challenge! As a reminder, the task was "wring the most posts out of the absolute dumbest discourse you can dredge up." Congrats to iced coffee. Lot of great contenders this week but you did it

*half-devoured by a giant serpent* I promise I'm not trying to "shed" my responsibilities, haha! But seriously, I will be out of the office unexpectedly until Friday at the earliest, depending on how things go with the snake
