I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

MAGA doesn't understand the difference between liking someone & fawning to get something from them; but they can sense it & it's part of what fuels their hatred. NO ONE (weird exception- Natalie Harp?) likes *ANY* of the Trumps or MAGA because they are amoral shills stuffed with bile & botox.

If a foreign leader in, say, the United Kingdom or Germany gave batshit crazy speeches featuring comments about a political ally’s ass, the New York Times would write a big story about the leader’s mental state. But when it happens in the U.S., the Times doesn’t. Why is that?

This is happening across the country and it will be completely ignored, again, because we have to pretend that everything is "normal" so we can go out and spend money in public places.

The Republicans’ betrayal of Ukraine will leave a permanent stain on American history. It’s not just Trump — it’s the entire Republican Party bowing down to Putin. They could stop this if they wanted to.

Fuck Trump and his entire traitorous regime- this happened because of them. Apparently, if Trump and the Epstein class aren't raping children, they're fine with killing them/allowing them to be killed: see Epstein files, Israeli atrocities, Iranian school, all USA school shootings.

⚡️ Russian drone strike on park in Kharkiv Oblast kills children and infant. The drone struck the town's central park while many people, including families with children, were there, Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi said. An infant in a stroller and two women were among those killed, he added.

Yes.WWIII was underway as soon as we could no longer rely on factual (as in (f)actual truth not “alternative facts”) information from those ‘in charge’ and the supposedly neutral, reliable sources disseminating information.

Kane Korso@godevils2.bsky.social

We are already in WW3. Have been for quite a while now. The sooner everyone understands that the sooner we all stand together and stop this. It's the only way through.

Tommy had a script and he was sticking to it, damn it! This was wonderful to watch.

Ossoff: "The crisis we must meet is deeper than this presidency. Trump's rise is proof that business as usual has failed, that our politics, sickened by corruption, is failing the American public and compromising our national integrity. And that the hour is late to fix what's broken."

OSSOFF: At a rally, the president egged on supporters who assaulted a woman demanding the release of the Epstein files. Because if you can count on one thing about this White House, it's their tireless commitments to war, inflation, and covering up sex trafficking.

“My first thought was, he lied in every word, That hoary cripple, with malicious eye Askance to watch the working of his lie On mine, and mouth scarce able to afford Suppression of the glee, that pursed and scored Its edge, at one more victim gained thereby.” - Robert Browning

The commitment to the bit is astounding.

JD Vance: "I've not seen a single shred of evidence that Donald Trump participates or sanctions in that corruption ... I've not once seen evidence that Donald Trump has enriched himself"

There are a few dems willing to state the unvarnished truth about this immoral, classless, dangerous grifter family; I wish all dems were as forthright.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Ossoff: "It's the most corrupt administration of all time & everybody knows it. While the crook president & his crook family rake in billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything... they lied us into war & spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile"

What war? The US illegally stole the country, kidnapped the President and his wife then seized Venezuela's oil fields. They never attacked the US. There was never a war.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Trump: "Somebody said, 'Why do you have this relationship with Venezuela?' Because we won the war. That's why…Did you ever hear the expression to the victor belong the spoils?"

I also remember when Elon said he'd end world hunger.

Mark Jacob@markjacob.bsky.social

Elon Musk is spending $158 million on Ken Paxton’s campaign. That’s more than the Make-A-Wish Foundation's annual revenue. Some people grant wishes to kids fighting serious illnesses. Other people bankroll a crooked pol whose make-a-wish was partying in Dubai with 2 fugitives from fraud charges.

One part of this statement is true: I do, in fact, find what Trump says not to be believable. At all.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "They want to cut your children. It's unbelievable what they do. Your son leaves as Jimmy and comes home in three days as Janet, and they don't even ask you. They can take your child out of school and do whatever the hell they want. Minnesota is one of those states."

Thank you, Mark Jacob! That the NYT thinks they give fair & balanced coverage ( citing Maggie Haberman!) is astounding. The admission he didn't really know he was making that they need to avoid the word "lie" because they'd have to use it so much it would be boring & repetitive is sure something.

Mark Jacob@markjacob.bsky.social

🧵🧵🧵 The NY Times posted a 15-minute video today in which I got to tell NYT what’s wrong with its coverage. They said they saw my critical posts on Bluesky and invited me to do a video with them to air my grievances. Weird, right? I didn’t hold back. I blasted their sanewashing of MAGA extremism.

Regardless of your ideology, your religion, or your values, all this dark money flowing into our elections should make us all sick. It's a war against democracy and freedom if mega-donors can buy influence from politicians who are supposed to work for our interests - not the interests of oligarchs.

Trump has picked a side in the Russia Ukraine war. News organizations should make that clear. And every single Republican running for office should be forced to answer whether they, too, support Russia, and how much of Ukraine Russia should be allowed to rule.

It was born "Artificial Intelligence" but you think "Super Intelligence" is a more accurate representation now? So now we can change representational terms in this country or be known as the enemy? Good to know.

There are currently 344 active FDA food recalls even with "roughly 1 in 5 food and drug safety personnel being laid off or forced out" according to the FDA’s Office of Inspections and Investigations. And they are now looking to hire over 2000 because oops! turns out that wasn't fraud and waste!

Protip to Ground News @groundnews.bsky.social: you might want to rethink using the Epstein Files as an example of a story that has two equally deserving sides in your ads (or on the site, or anywhere). I was seriously considering subscribing and that turned me right off.

If you are using the constitution as the basis to get what you want while flagrantly violating it to get other things you want your case should not only be thrown out with prejudice but you should be heavily, heavily fined. All or nothing, you gross, smug, grifting hack.

NO ONE who was paying ANY ATTENTION AT ALL to ANY part of reality expected anything but this inescapable, irredeemable, horrific fascist death cult of an administration and if anyone expected otherwise they are a complete fucking moron, a closet racist, or both.

While conservative/establishment dems are not perfect they at least think, "I'll do some good AND line my pockets tra la!" while the GOP think, "Haha I've gotten rich, ruined the economy & the literal Earth, made people hate each other for manufactured reasons, & those morons still vote for us!"
