Would love to talk with editors from 1998 and ask them: If Congress dropped a 50-page report detailing, with witnesses on the record, that President Clinton raped women, would you put it on the front page?

Seeing how little coverage that house report that added another rape accusation to Trump's tally got today, I looked back on just the front page Benghazi stories (there were many, many more inside over these months).

I find it interesting that both Biden and Trump never threw out the ceremonial first pitch as presidents. Trump in ‘06 at Fenway; Biden as VP in ‘09.

This is how agenda setting and narrative work. Notice how the frame, in graf 4, shifts to "just eight days before Election Day". So instead a focus on the 50-page report, we get 6 grafs w/most of them tying report to Dems trying to win an election. Fascinating stuff! www.nytimes.com/2026/10/26/u...

Interesting how 5 hours later, it's still just 6 grafs. Wonder if the NYT has a team on this; don't see an article yet up on the WSJ or on WaPo...

Just remember Meta’s role in elections; platforms can and do put their thumbs on democracy’s scale—especially when it benefits them.

And just yesterday: Meta restricted Brazilian president's Insta accounts during the election while "recommending the profile of challenger Senator Flavio Bolsonaro." What's it going to take people to get off Meta products? www.reuters.com/world/americ...

Meta running back it’s Five Years “betting people; the future is everyone” commercial during the World Series a few days after having been forced to pay $25 billion for misleading people on data privacy practices is perfect.

It is ridiculous that we went from Obama to Trump. It’s even more ridiculous that 80 million people decided that a second Trump term would be a good idea. Two versions of America, indeed.

The 9yo got a “tin can” phone, a “new-school landline for friends”. Basically, a land land via WiFi or Bluetooth that can only make calls to others who have a tin can phone. (Can call regular phones if you wanna pay $10/month). It’s a neat way for he and his friends to chat.

We get the government we deserve. Trump and republicans have destroyed institutions while filling their pockets with our tax dollars. Democrats: please sir may I have some more

Today is a fun math day: 10/24/26. It’s a Pythagorean triple. 10 squared (100) x 24 squared (576) equals 26 squared (676). Happy Pythagorean Theorem Day to all who celebrate. Hope you do it in the right way!

Just noticed the operational error. Obv should be + not x. I have to sit on this for 80 years, the next time a Pythagorean Triple comes our way. I will be..128 years old then.

Started watching Widow's Bay this week, two episodes in, and really enjoying it. At the same time, the 12yo started Parks and Rec last week, so fun to see the inspo in parallel tracks lol

has anyone reported on how much damage vs how much good yale and harvard law school graduates have had on this nation?

Just Joshing. A show hosted by me with guests only named Josh where the premise is figuring out if what I’m reading is a joke or real life. Like: The world’s wealthiest man who is an immigrant in America spends $445 million to elect politicians who want to kick out immigrants. Am I joshing or not?

This is not said often or forcefully enough. They are viscous when we are funnier than them. they know how much their propaganda machine depends on manufacturing their faux wit.

The biggest danger to this administration is being a non-white person who is funnier and better at posting than them. That's why they're arresting this woman's family members for running a weed store two weeks before an election. She has the juice and that's dangerous.
