It feels like not some, but most "business" these days are little more than straight up legal predatory scams and pyramid schemes. Gambling is rampant in everything as well. Y'all are spending hundreds and sometimes thousands to press the sometimes less than 50/50 "give me an answer button".

The thing I wrestle with is granting grace to some people that I have historically respected that still interact on that platform. The mental gymnastics are tiring. I don't expect anybody to be 100% ahypocritical, myself included. But man... it's a tough line to walk.

I’ve maintained Preact for a bit over 7 years, I was just getting started in tech and we had this application with horrible performance. I looked around to see what we could do and switching React to Preact was an option. The extensible nature would allow me to tweak rendering.
