Claude is amazing at answering all the "what is this food and how do I eat it without evoking funerary practices" questions that come up a lot in Japan

Ok, this is very cool

Introducing Clairic, from Cloudflare. A System One extraction modeI, capable of extracting, computing, estimating, and forecasting data from unstructured inputs. https://cfl.re/3UcTaMP

I love these threads we're doing for each minor release

Nine days after 1.2, EmDash 1.3 is out. Every saved version now shows exactly what changed, and your live site gets the admin's editing tools. One switch also asks AI crawlers not to train on your content. Here's what's new!

I don't want an edit button – I want to be able to block someone in less than three clicks

Thanks @jimray.bsky.team for having me on the pod to talk about @emdashcms.com, how I use AI coding agents, and why atproto is mostly an excuse to buy domains

Earlier this year @mk.gg was faced with a daunting question: could he create a new WordPress. He joins Off Protocol to describe how it was possible with AI agents and atproto. atproto.com/off-protocol...

i put $100 into an IRA when i got my first job the following year Bank of America decided they would take away $30 of it each year that i didn't put more money in so for almost 25 years i have kept this account open with the solitary goal of making them spend 30 cents per quarter on postage

The SaaS-pocalypse is real, when you can go from "I wish there was a service that did this" to a polished app that could've been a whole business a few years ago in an hour of planning and design and a night of /goal work

Yes, I'll share it when it's ready. Yes, it'll be open source. No, I'm not applying to YC.

When Jev came out I was excited to try it for this, and was disappointed when it was worse than the baseline. This made it even more of a pleasant discovery when I evaluated Cloudflare's Clef model and found it blew them all out of the water: more accurate, reliable and much faster.

Open plugin registries have a hard problem: anyone can publish, but not everything should be discoverable. Here's how EmDash uses the new Cloudflare Clef model in an Atproto labeler to screen every listing without giving up open publishing

Five days after 1.1, EmDash 1.2 is here! A redesigned editor, video blocks, numbered pages, domain moves and one-command upgrades. Here's what's new.

It is a lot of fun working somewhere that ships like this

46 announcements. 1 week. If your feed moved too fast yesterday, here’s your refresher—every product, feature, and update we shipped for #BirthdayWeek 2026: https://cfl.re/47Df1A0

It's amazing that despite all this, all the models are *still* terrible at writing prose. After the singularity, the superintelligence will keep humans around because the large language model still can't write engaging prose. Stop worrying, #booksky authors.

Opus 5.5 is about as good at coding as Sol, so animations aside I'd kind've missed how much better it is at everything else. It's like an Opus 4.5-level jump, but for productivity.

I just pointed it at my slides for an upcoming talk (which Sol had already reviewed and polished) and it made them 1000x better visually, but also suggested an improved structure and better demo.

I saw something terrifying when I went back to Twitter to reply to Matt Mullenweg

Hello everyone please don't use this model that's almost as good as ours at 1/10th the cost and without all the guardrails that won't even let you fix an auth bug

The trouble with running my own PDS software is that whenever I get Bluesky errors my first thought is to blame myself

I was however the first to mention Merkle Trees in a Cloudflare blog this week

Whoa I just had a peek at the announcements that we're putting out today, and one in particular is MASSIVE. Watch this space in 20 minutes. ⚛️
