The London #Haskell meetup is looking for talk submissions for November, and for meetups early next year. They're after lightning talks (~15 minutes) and full-length talks (~30 minutes). How to submit: london-haskell.github.io#submit-a-talk

"Learn You a Haskell for Great Good" is available as an interactive Sabela notebook on your browser! sabela.datahaskell.com/c/1ea40000 #Haskell
Spent some time last night getting the example Waterfall-CAD models on my website to link through to the interactive playground: doscienceto.it/blog/waterfa... #haskell #3dprinting
I'm particularly pleased with the way these tree-ornaments look: doscienceto.it/waterpark/?p... #haskell #3dprinting
I've been working on a #Haskell powered CAD playground, that runs entirely in the browser on Web Assembly Try it at doscienceto.it/waterpark/
This may or may not be obvious, but you can use the "loadURL" button to open files from Github (or Github Gists, just paste in the "raw" link), and even permalink to them, like so: doscienceto.it/waterpark/?f...

I recently really enjoyed @mschav.bsky.social's talk at #ZuriHac so I tried to reproduce this chart in Sabela (a Jupyter-notebook-like project for #Haskell) seems like this Mbappé guy is not so bad either! 🤭

gimp is kinda jank yeah but when people have Serious Takes about how it needs to improve all i can read is "here is how these four guys working intermittently for free have FAILED to live up to the international company making twenty billion dollars a year"
GIMP is objectively unintuitive and also can’t parse text layers of PSDs properly, it’s designed by FOSS people that have never created tools for professionals. Telling someone to use it for their job is like saying you can make a feature on iMovie. Technically true but not serious.

sabela.datahaskell.com Sabela now has a community gallery. The highlighted examples show that Haskell can be a good tool for exploratory work.

Excellent quiz, thanks a lot @doscienceto.it :)
Wrote a little #haskell quiz doscienceto.it/extension-or... Can you tell the valid Haskell Language Extensions (based on the GHC docs), from the Impostors?

Over the weekend I finished making this (fairly silly) video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_uQ... #haskell #cad
I _kind of get where this is coming from_, but even ignoring the whole "jumping through hoops to satisfy AI companies" angle Did we have to pick a format that consist of about 100 different, unstandardized variants
So Markdown is getting a glow-up right now, thanks to (wait for it) AI. But I think it could end up being great for the Web even if you don’t care about AI. tedium.co/2026/02/17/m... new @tedium.co
