I've outlined how I write alt-text for images. Hopefully the information is useful for other people who want to write alt-text but aren't sure what to write. vale.rocks/micros/20260... #a11y #AltText

I like to think I keep up with new #CSS features, but sometimes I overlook something fun. For example, improvements to text-stroke: tylersticka.com/journal/impr... #WebDesign #WebDev

I wrote a thing! Your CSS grid layout looks fine visually. But if you've used `order` or `grid-template-areas`, keyboard users might be tabbing through it in completely the wrong sequence. `reading-flow` fixes that - no JS, no ARIA hacks! dominickjay.com/writing/cont...

One of the most consistently neglected parts of today’s user experiences is our handling of errors. We’re so busy designing the happy paths through our products that we often forget to give the same care and attention to the times when things will go wrong piccalil.li/blog/how-to-...

We're back at Bristol's harbourside next week!!! 😀 If you're considering attending Pixel Pioneers but haven't been (to our new venue) before, this video will give you a good idea of what to expect. 👉🏽 If it's piqued your interest, there's still time to join us: pixelpioneers.co/events/brist...

After sitting on it for months, I finally pushed my redesign of my site out into the open world today, moving from 11ty to @astro@webtoo.ls. Check it out! dominickjay.com Crossposted with @openvibe.social
