Today, in a series of threads, I am going to walk through some of these documents and give you a chance to see from the inside what we found It is all there in black and white. The documents don't lie.

wrote on saturday that trump was not going to let democrats avoid the question of impeachment and here we are with an offense that would have had a president impeached, removed and *at least* exiled if it had happened at any point prior to now.

We arrived at the hotel just as all the local restaurants were closing so we hadn’t eaten all day but fortunately there was a little pizza stand to get a traditional NYC slice of pie.

I’m sorry, but if you bring gypsum - or any damn mineral below 3 on the Mohs scale at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

A lot of things are shit right now, but recently a friend lost his guitar on the subway and a music producer found it, posted on Insta, and with the help of the internet tracked him down and RETURNED IT! Sometimes, the world is still a lovely place and people are still kind. 🥰🎸

The Greenland “deal” epitomizes Trump. A huge amount of drama, a huge amount of damage that won’t be fixed for years and maybe never. And in the end he gets literally nothing but the diplo equivalent of Danish FIFA peace prize. 🏆 Stood down by Greenland and Denmark. Both hilarious and pathetic. Sad!

Sahil Kapur@sahilkapur.bsky.social

James Clyburn says on @meetthepress.com that he supports adding four seats to the Supreme Court: “A baker’s dozen would be a good number to have on the court.”

It is not up to the president what the Kennedy Center is called. It is not up to the president what the Department of Defense is called. It is not up to the president what the Gulf of Mexico is called. It is not up to the president what Lake Ontario is called.

I'm not going back on Twitter to fight some magazine writer for a dumb opinion he has on there. That's a terrible way to use my banking app.

Have been a member of the @whca.bsky.social almost continuously since the 1990s. Our mission is to defend the First Amendment rights of White House correspondents to report on the president without fear or favor. Unfortunately last night did not advance that cause. Time to rethink the dinner.

People are making fun of AOC for having a slight southern accent while speaking in Memphis but they clearly don’t know the pain of habitually and unconsciously imitating the speaking style of the people around you

Anyway, at the risk of sounding like a weirdo who is too online-- I'm really grateful to y'all, Bluesky. We are strangers-- but not, as many of you have supported me through the WaPo firing, my fighting journeys, through my father's passing-- --and basically rebuilding my life at nearly 40.
