Good morning! We've added a new report page to our site today which makes comparisons between the current state of advance voting in Kansas with the equivalent state in 2024 and 2022. We also do more breakdowns than in our old reports. Check it out! ike-lab.com/evcompare_26...

I just donated to help support @ike-lab.com at Wichita State University and you can too! Easy access to historical and current voting data in Kansas is very important to the health of our Democracy. IKE lab provides a very helpful service to Kansans. #Kansas #Democracy give.wichita.edu/ike-lab

Advance voting in Kansas begins today! We’ve got our first report of the number of mail-in ballots requested so far, and a few hundred have already been returned. Our first in-person voting report (to the limited extent counties start today) will be tomorrow. #ksleg

NEW: My midterms cheat sheet features 670+ races—up and down the ballot, & why they matter. Now it's in PDF, printable form! Save it, print it, give it to your kids to color the Senate map, & use it your worksheet on election night. Find it here: boltsmag.org/whats-on-the...

Hey @ike-lab.com could you make a table that combines mail-in ballots AND early in-person voting and look at overall turnout? I appreciate looking at the types of early voting, but another key factor is what percent of votes are already cast (combining in-person and mail) and what % that is. Thx!

Apparently the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has no standards since they now have updated their website to use the delusional renaming of artificial intelligence as “super Intelligence” or “SI.”

Here’s something you should know about minks: They have lungs and airways remarkably similar on a cellular level to those of people. They’ve spread flus and infected humans before with COVID-19. Right now, bird flu is spreading on a Utah farm filled with thousands of them… 🧵

Cancer is what you get when you elect Republican politicians who say there are "too many regulations." This is not just a Trump problem, this is Republicans all the way down. Exercise your right to vote and choose a better world.
