#MeanwhileInMichigan: Nearly 1.4 MILLION ballots have been returned for the November 2026 election (18.8%). Based *purely* on county-level Trump/Harris results, the projected Dem portion of ballots cast so far are 1.7% more Dem than the *final* results from 2024.

🚨The FL Republican state representative in HD 94, who eagerly accepted Trump‘s “complete & total” endorsement in May, is now desperately trying to make the contest about her Dem opponent. So far, > $100k in negative mail about the Dem challenger has been spent on behalf of “MAGA Meg”. Wonder why ?🤷🏽‍♀️

So GOP members of Congress are complaining their absurd defenses of the largest #Medicaid cuts in history still aren’t working (there are no cuts, they aren’t cuts because we’re only stopping fraud, ignore the cuts & look at the shiny new rural fund, & the new one here: they could have been worse).

At least 52 maternity wards have closed since Trump signed off on the largest Medicaid cut in history.   No mother should have to travel farther for lifesaving treatment because Republicans prioritized tax breaks for billionaires over healthcare.   They should be ashamed.

I don't know that there is a definitive line to cross that makes you say, "I live in a police state now" but when masked gunmen can routinely brutalize the public, citizen or immigrant alike, with impunity, you have reached that point.
