"Both" is usually the correct answer. Witty is good. Thoughtful is better. RT = interesting, not necessarily agreeing

Here are the details: literally any time, any place, any network.

Fox host: President Trump said you all should have a debate… Is that in the works? Are you requesting one with him? Ken Paxton (lying): Oh well, no, look... We can never quite work out the details.

Trump's move to ban outlets he doesn't like from reporting inside the White House comes amid a wave of bad news less than 2 months before the midterms: *Record diesel prices, $4+ gas, ~7% mortgages, higher interest rates, high fertilizer prices, ~$7 beef. *Terrible polling for Rs, Trump *Etc Etc Etc

"This was a high-stakes presidential gamble with global stability and nuclear war hanging in the balance that indicates, anew, how much Trump’s ego and corruption undermines our security at home and abroad," writes @vermontgmg.bsky.social: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/the-five-s...

Dear Constitutional Law BlueSky: In light of the SCOTUS decision that enforcement of 14A, clause 3 is vested with Congress, does that mean that the 2027 Congress with Dem majorities in both houses could declare 47 to be an insurrectionist, and therefore ineligible to serve? Asking for a friend. 🙃

This. This. One million times this. In a primary, support the person who makes you the most inspired. In the general election, vote for the Democrat. (And if you’re in a state where it is Indy v. GOP, vote for the Indy.) General elections are binary choices.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

New in PN: Moderate Democrats have a choice to make "They can spend the next three months reinforcing Republican messaging about their party & making it less likely Dems take power. Or they can put the 'battle for the soul of the party' off for a while and do what they can to help their party win."

Watching World Cup soccer, and Landon Donovan, within 30 minutes, criticized the Canadian coach for saying that he was proud of his team after they lost, and then praised the US team in advance even if they lose. Someone needs to teach the US analysts that we do listen, and we want consistency.

Jaw-dropping admission by DOJ to court. DOJ admits to having repeatedly made "material mistaken" representations to judge - ICE never had authority (under 2025 Guidance) to conduct arrests at immigration courthouses! DOJ admits court "relied on...prior misrepresentations." DOJ blames ICE (page 2)

Raided the camps to confiscate the letters from the kidnapped kids. Classic Good Guy behavior.

Just take a look at this and remember, Pam Bondi's concern here was not with any of the victims of these crimes but with the nosy Democrats who actually gave a shit about them.

Christopher Wiggins@cwnewser.bsky.social

A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today. It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files. Just wow.

RFK Jr/MAHA world say they're not reducing access to vaccines for anyone who wants them, only giving people "choice" to opt out. But by refusing to even review new vaccines, yes, they are absolutely blocking those who want a new immunization from ever having access to it.

Lutnick had said, "I decided [in 2005] I will never be in a room with that disgusting person ever again. So I was never in the room with him socially, for business, or even philanthropy. If that guy was there, I wasn't going." He just admitted visiting Epstein's island in 2012:

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

VAN HOLLEN: Did you in fact make the visit to Epstein's private island? LUTNICK: I did have lunch w/ him as I was on a boat going across on a family vacation. My wife was with me as were my 4 children and nannies. We had lunch on the island. That's true. For an hour. We left with all of my children

Both. The answer is almost always both. 🙃

Two days ago, the president used his social media platform to endorse this "phenomenal candidate" and to urge "all America First Patriots" in the district to get out and vote for her. Today, he says he doesn't know anything about it and had nothing to do with it. He's lying or demented or both.

Beyond helping establish DHS itself in 2003, Mr. Mitnick was a senate-confirmed Trump choice for General Counsel for DHS in his first term. I've talked with him a few times, and he's not a man for hyperbole. So bear that in mind when you see him calling out DHS's "lawlessness, fascism, and cruelty."

When reading the physician's sworn statement under penalty of perjury on shocking denial of medical care to Alex Pretti ⬇️ Remember Kristi Noem's statement earlier today: "Medics were on the scene immediately and attempted to deliver medical aid to the subject."

Ryan Goodman@rgoodlaw.bsky.social

WOW on Pretti's denial of medical treatment "I informed the ICE agents that I am a physician, and I asked to assess the victim. At first, the ICE agents wouldn't let me through. ... But none of the ICE agents who were near the victim were performing CPR, ... None of the agents were helping him."
