(1/2) The White House argues that voters in Alaska will not know who the sitting GOP senator is and who the guy with the similar name is, and that requires invalidation of any close win by Mary Peltola. But look at the ballot.

(2/2) Also the state uses rank choice voting. That is likely to help the sitting senator as well, in case anyone really is confused, because they can list the Dan Sullivans as their first and second voices.

An important ruling that kicks this back to the district court which has yet to even rule. The White House will likely seek SCOTUS intervention but it’s premature and it will face an uphill climb even there.

In speeches, Obama hit Trump on gas prices and a war nobody asked for. Hours later, Trump bragged at a rally that the country is making a fortune on oil and he doesn’t give a damn what people pay at the pump. Interesting strategy. My write-up in the link in the comments.

The GOP cares only about its own power and wealth transfers to its rich donor base. It has no principles; it serves no one but its own members.

This clip put out by MeidasTouch is rather amazing: “This supercut is likely to make Trump VERY upset. The difference between Trump and Obama is on full display, and the contrast is absolutely devastating. Watch until the end...” Video: buff.ly/cFpKnnJ

Early voting in some states where the GOP is now surprisingly vulnerable (Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska) looks favorable to 2022’s advance ballot numbers, with Dems also outpacing the GOP considerably among those who cast early ballots.

Maine voters: You cannot have Dems control the Senate if you also return Susan Collins to Washington. It doesn’t work that way. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Early voting is often correlated with voter enthusiasm. Many of these states showing early vote surges are red states defending key GOP senate seats. Not necessarily predictive of outcome, but this has got to worry Republicans. Per AP:
