House expansion by a plausible number would do very little to mitigate gerrymandering by itself. State legislatures with multiple times as many districts are still very gerrymandered. Expansion may have other benefits, but it needs pairing with redistricting reform or proportional representation

This is Trump admin fearmongering and an obvious attempt to preemptively sow doubt about election outcomes that favor Democrats. ELECTIONS ARE RUN BY THE STATES, NOT THE FEC. Don't fall for this.

In newspapers around the world, the report that Donald Trump raped Béatrice Keul in an Atlantic City hotel room commands huge headlines. In US corporate media, it isn't reported. Ask yourself why that might be. Here's the front page of today's Süddeutsche Zeitung in Munich.

Not that long ago, three major lower-court rulings against the executive branch on three unrelated topics would’ve been a busy *month,* and outlets would’ve rushed to write up such a run of adverse rulings. Now, it doesn’t feel unusual when we get three on the same *day.* It’s all … exhausting.

Trump has no legal authority to do this, of course, but that's not the point. Whipping up a bunch of voter suppression vigilantes -- the obvious result -- is the point, however.
