Especially amazing given that Trump completely “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear capabilities just eight months ago.

Just got a message from South High saying “We currently have requests totaling $33,965 for rent and we have $7500 available tomorrow. Please try to share the gofundme widely! Thanks” Well, that simply will not do. I'll match the first $900. Please help my fellow South High families if you can! 🖤🧡🖤

I know there are a lot of mutual aid asks coming out of Minneapolis right now, but both of my kids graduated from South High and it would mean a lot to me for people to contribute to this rent fund for my fellow South families. I’ll match the first $1000 if you post receipts. Tiger Pride 🧡🖤

I can't say how much I hope Jasmine Crockett defeats James talirico in the election. I think she is the real deal, a very genuine defender of democracy. People like her offer the greatest hope that the US will not slide further into fascism.

This is disturbing. The Chief Justice of the MN Supreme Ct met with Homan, worked out an agreement, and never announced it publicly. ICE appeared to violate it days later by violently tackling a person in the Gov Center w/out a judicial warrant. We need transparency.

We publicize certain things, like the Statue of Liberty bombing. It's just so fitting that the American government would destroy the gift of freedom we gave your country almost 200 years ago -- and then try to blame it on us!

Let me tell you a tale of how completely the normies have been mobilized. My 14 year-old niece has done School of Rock for the past 5 years; last summer she was part of their touring band, and the kids loved playing together so much that they decided to keep doing it. (1/?)

The ICE surge in Minnesota cost $280M of our tax money, to detain 4k people of whom only 30 were accused of violent crimes, plus another 530 with minor traffic violations. $9 million per capture of the "worst of the worst". Plus two civilian deaths. Trump is REALLY BAD at this.

We’re going to continue being out there and patrolling to protect our neighbors until every single last agent is gone. We’re also going to keep this connection going and continue building community for long after whenever this operation ends.

ICE’s continuous harassment of schools, forcing parents to stand out in front of their children’s school every day, collapsing attendance, transforming schools into de facto aid distribution networks - for me, that’s probably their most unforgivable premeditated crime here in Minnesota

Alex Schieferdecker@alexschief.bsky.social

I've repeatedly used the Roosevelt HS case because it's so unexplainable. Like, imagine the MPD was chasing a suspect and the chase took them through a high school at dismissal... And then somehow they ended up getting into multiple scrums with students and arresting two teachers? What???
