There's no forgiving this. No living it down. It's a stain on our humanity. When all this is over, the monsters who did this should be pariahs. And the soulless thugs who cheered it on while dehumanizing Haitian immigrants should be reminded of what they did every day of their lives.

The situation in Haiti is terrifying. On Sunday, 150 gunmen swept down on a town to kill, rape, loot, and burn. 22 people were executed in a churchyard. 52 were taken hostage. Stephen Miller mockingly says Haiti is safe and ICE just sent its second deportation flight this month; with kids on board.

Memorial Day is a U.S. holiday that’s supposed to be about mourning the nation’s fallen service members, but it’s come to anchor the unofficial start of summer and a long weekend of travel and discounts on anything from mattresses to lawn mowers.

As US politicians campaign for this year’s elections—and look ahead to the 2028 presidential contest—they need to take data center opposition seriously as a salient issue, writes Ben Green. The opportunity is substantial, particularly for Democrats, he says.

PM Tusk on Epstein: it is very likely that this was a planned operation by the Russian KGB. More and more leads are pointing to suspicions that this unprecedented pedophilia scandal was co-organized by Russian intelligence services.

Hugo Lowell told MSNOW that the Trump administration expects that the murder of Alex Pretti will "blow over and go away." They believe that Americans will forget about it in a week or so.

Members of Congress should be openly stating right now that military action against Greenland will result in impeachment and removal of the President and the Vice President.

I have said for several years that the object of Trump and Project 2025 is to rewind the US back to a pre-Civil War status. If you look at it that way, everything they're doing fits. No civil rights, no women's suffrage, no worker protections, no environmental laws, etc.

You'll notice since the outrage du jour came up over Trump suggesting death penalties and then them blowing Venezuelan boats out of the water, everybody stopped talking about Epstein. The art of distraction. Or to use the words of Steve Bannon, flood the zone with shit.

I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired. If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

Home invasions. Child sex crimes. Homicide. Just a couple things that some of the 1500+ January 6 defendants have been convicted of since Trump released them back onto our streets. The GOP isn't the party of law and order. They're the party of lawlessness and violence.

I’m just saying, but if I had just gotten completely shellacked on Tuesday, I wouldn’t be asking SCOTUS to let me starve millions of people 3 days later.

Easy to believe this guy ignored someone who passed out in the Oval Office. He did ignore a guest at a Mar-a-Lago event who fell off the stage and split his head open and complained about the blood staining his marble floor. The lack of empathy is on-brand.

The bottom line is that the Supreme Court would be doing Republicans in Congress a big favor by taking away Toddler Trump’s Tariff Toy. They won’t stand up to him, and are hoping SCOTUS bails them out from the Mad King’s economy killing fuckery.

Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents. They’ve had their necks kneeled on. They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear. At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.

They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days. The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...
