When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

This is eminently reasonable, extremely well-argued, and essential reading. Erin is correct about all of this, and it is doubly urgent given what we've seen in the UK. 2026 is the time to correct the Dems about this. 2028 may be too late.

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

The elections are on next Tuesday, and so much is at stake, including the soul of the Democratic Party when it comes to transgender people. I am asking you to leave a very small number of races blank in which a Democrat has embraced extreme anti-trans hate. I make my case here.

erininthemorning.comDon’t Vote For The Worst Anti-Trans DemocratsThe Democratic Party should, and likely will, win big in the midterms. We must not send the worst anti-trans voices to join them.

"what was your biggest impact on the internet?" This one inspired a lot of people to animate

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

Five years later, and the nations of the world have set aside their differences. The nuclear weapons have been disarmed. Humans and monsters co-exist peacefully. We have even begun to journey to the stars.

But peace is a fragile thing, and there are still some tensions. But the world knows that peace is worth fighting for. And if the Earth is ever threatened again, Godzilla WILL return.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

As humanity and the monsters retreat, only Godzilla and Kiryu stay behind. Godzilla attempts to draw in the natural heat into his body, while Kiryu plans to fire the Absolute Zero Cannon to freeze the volcano.

There’s a brilliant flash of light, and everyone looks at a giant obsidian pillar pierces the sky. Godzilla and Kiryu are frozen inside. The day is saved.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

As the monsters convene, so too does humanity. Kiryu, Jet Jaguar, M.O.G.U.E.R.A., the Super X-3, even Mecha King Ghidorah from what was left of Russia. (The US President was NOT happy learning that Russia had that, but at this point they have very little choice.)

As the Monsters and Machines duke it out, Godzilla notices that humanity has finally united. But just as he is about to call off the battle, the ground starts rumble. The conflict has destabilized the caldera, and the super volcano is about to erupt!

As the nations of the world mobilize their most potent anti-Godzilla weapons, scientists discover where the monsters are headed: Yellowstone National Park.

If humanity can’t stop Godzilla and the other Kaiju, they will set off the super-volcano underneath, and wipe humanity out for good.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

As Godzilla is taking in her plea, Mothra is attacked by Battra again and killed. Battra then says that Godzilla must finish the job, and that humanity is a plague that must be eradicated to heal the planet. Godzilla takes in Battra’s words, and then immediately kills them.

Godzilla lets loose another monstrous roar, and suddenly the monsters around the world stop their attacks and begin to mobilize. The Shobijin explain that Godzilla will give humanity one last stand. If they can unite their forces for good to stop them, Godzilla will rescind his war.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

Mothra races across the world to make one final plea to Godzilla to stop this war, but she’s intercepted by Battra. Battra conveys that it’s about time humanity got what was coming to them. The two duke it out, but Mothra manages to disable Battra so she can speak with Godzilla.

As Godzilla is laying waste to Moscow, Mothra appears before him. She pleads with Godzilla to spare humanity one last time. We are an exceptionally young race, with no true understanding of the power we meddle with.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

The president asks the Shobijin if Mothra will help defend humanity, but the Shobijin look at each other hesitantly as if they have some bad news to tell to him.

The tell him Mothra finds the use of nuclear weapons an egregious blasphemy. Mothra will attempt to talk Godzilla down from this, but if he cannot be reasoned with, Mothra will stand aside. She will be the protect the next civilization that comes afterwards.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

The US President (someone competent that isn’t the war-mongering dementia-riddled pedophile we currently have) is fielding calls from world leaders, when the Shobijin suddenly appear in the Oval Office.

The Shobijin explain that by using nuclear weapons and killing an infant monster, Godzilla has essentially declared war on humanity.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

Enraged, Godzilla lets out a monstrous roar. The eardrums of everyone nearby instantly burst. It can be heard for miles around by humans, but Kaiju all over the world hear it and respond.

Varan in Israel! Zilla in the US! Manda in China! Rodan and Anguirus in India and Pakistan! Battra in North Korea! Gorosaurus in France! Titannosaurus in the UK! All while Godzilla marches on Russia straight for Moscow!

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

But Russia seems to be putting some extra haste in their retreat. That’s because they just launched a nuke at Godzilla, hoping to kill him and to salt Ukrainian territory.

The plan goes about as well as you would expect. Not only is Godzilla unfazed, he’s extra pissed. He was called there by a baby Kaiju that was hatching, but the nuke killed the infant monster.

Since I’ve got nothing else going on right now, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a super political Godzilla story that’s been rattling around in my brain for a while: World War G

It begins with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and suddenly Godzilla appears as if something was calling to him. Both Ukraine and Russia pull their forces back.
