It's official! I'm *permanently* banned from X for tweeting "TLDR: Fascism." (appeal denied) What an honor—and a sign that the Silicon Valley billionaires feel threatened by my book. (One of my final viral posts featured this cover.) Pre-order here! www.simonandschuster.com/books/The-Ne...

The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X. I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!). So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.

MAHA has been in power for two years. They have decimated basic science, gutted food safety surveillance and kicked millions of people off food stamps. *That* is their ideology, not their polite platitudes about corporate control of the food supply.

one of the biggest scandals at NIH in anyone’s memory we cannot hand over civilian science to the military they have their expertise we have ours like asking us to fight wars

The agreement was signed out of the public view a month ago by Pentagon official Robert Kadlec and NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya, echoing my reporting. It establishes a 10-year framework that officially runs through September 30, 2036.

I wrote an article that made this point. Jesse Signal got so mad, he created a bizarre fantasy version of me and declared me incompetent entirely based on his own imagination. All because I made the same point as Kevin Kruse.

If you're a cis person insisting that the prospect of trans children playing youth sports is not only "a problem" but in fact one of the biggest problems we currently face as a nation, I'd be happy to introduce you to literally a million other things that should be worrying you more.

What do Bobby Kennedy Jr., his son Bobby Kennedy III, and Rand Paul have in common? They each wrote a book criticizing Tony Fauci, and they share the same publisher, Skyhorse, founded by a close RFK Jr. adviser who also runs the MAHA PAC. www.nytimes.com/2026/08/03/u...

Let’s be clear here, when scientists say mistakes were made at the start of the pandemic, we DO NOT mean that we did too much. We mean not socially distancing quickly enough, not making tests widely available, and not acknowledging COVID is airborne and distributing N95 masks to everyone.

100% on target—this is the way to think about the Trump science plan.

Once you understand that this is a model of science written by non-scientists who hate universities but love venture capital and redirecting money to political allies, everything makes a lot more sense. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/22/u...

Thread. Rapists running a coercive sex ring AND transmitting CSAM AND inducing other men to abuse women and girls in turn. The alleged behavior is legitimately monstrous and it’s a HUGE deal that the Trump regime is undermining law enforcement to help/free them. Epstein in real time

Professa Murray@kalimurray.bsky.social

The fact that VP JD Vance and Richard Grenell went to Romania—on behalf of the Trump Administration— to advocate for Andrew and Tristan Tate, who by all accounts, were rapists running a coercive sex ring, then permitted them to come to Florida, should be a crazy, crazy scandal.

A second Trump administration, empowered by the Supreme Court's strike-down of Chevron, would absolutely translate into "even worse American food safety standards." The GOP hates the regulatory state, and that includes the regulators that try to keep chicken from killing you.

Not hypocrisy, a consistent principle of cruel selfishness. Masking in the pandemic: a minor inconvenience to oneself to protect others and help the community Masking in neo-Nazi demonstration: protecting oneself while imposing inconvenience (and worse) on others and disrupting the community

The same Republicans who were hysterical when asked to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID19 have no problem wearing masks to spread their White Nationalist Christian hatred.

Exactly. Hit Blanche with the degenerates this will help. "This is a mug shot of so-and-so. He beat up cops on January 6. Trump pardoned him. Then he was arrested for molesting a child. How much taxpayer money do you plan to give him from Trump's insurrectionist/pedophile slush fund?" Rinse, repeat

Oliver Willis@owillis.bsky.social

i would just constantly pile up evidence before him. "why are you creating a pedophile slush fund? are you going to prioritize giving tax dollars to people who attacked the capitol or who donated to trump first? how much more of a crime wave do you guys plan to enable?"

My patient is a Haitian asylum seeker, who got kidney failure after arriving here. He got a kidney transplant and Indiana dropped him to Medicaid E the same month. He will die without anti rejection meds. I think that's the plan.
