I think we are well past that point already. But as I started saying two and a half months ago, the administration will at some juncture openly state that it is defying court orders. And that will happen very soon.

They’re killing any attempt by the markets to recoup losses. There can be little doubt anymore. They want to crash the markets and shrink the economy. They cannot explain their blanket tariffs or subsequent escalations. They’re even going after countries where we have surpluses. It’s sabotage.

This man is distinguishing himself as one of the truly great idiots in American history. And I say that knowing full well that we have a great tradition of idiots in America, big ones.

Let’s not forget the avalanche of layoffs that will start this month as companies are forced to shrink in reaction to precipitous drops in consumer demand. A recession is now inevitable. We should be concerned about a prolonged depression.
