Sounds awesome - unfortunately I cannot allow it to "act on my behalf" - maybe there could be another way to prove I have control over the org? Like a manual verification.

unfortunately 'act on your behalf' is just the way github describes this. the only permissions synchub.to _asks_ for are repository contents + webhooks for repo events

(these aren't optional - synchub doesn't work without them)

the issue is that tangled doesn't (yet) support private repos

A really cool way to start the migration to @tangled.org It would be great, if pull requests and issues could be synced as well.

interestingly, on tangled, issues and pull requests are not 'owned' by the repo - they live in the data of the person who created them which makes syncing them tricky, conceptually

this is about to change soonish :)

This is cool but I couldn't get it working. When I tried `gh app install` I get that `app` is not a subcommand. Is there another way to install the cli? In the dashboard, I see an ssh key, what am I meant to do with this?

it works automatically - you can remove the key to remove the github app's access to your repos the sync is already happening: tangled.org/metru.dev?ta...

Oh it syncs everything! For some reason I thought it was supposed to be a per-repo enabled thing. Cool, thanks!

very interested in having purpose-built ci infra for @bomb.sh which might mean we should have a tangled-first posture? but maybe we'd need a way to consume issues from both platforms into a unified triage dashboard

Hey @danielroe.dev ! I'm having issues with github.com/karanshukla/... not syncing over, @karanshukla.ca . Is there perhaps a setting im missing in the repo? Synchub is installed on the Github and another repo works fine:

normally this is a transitory issue with tangled... how long has it been?

Curious-and maybe I just need to read more-but would you consider adding functionality like: - migrate from github to tangled in bulk (no mirror) - migrate from github (selected repos), archive the github repo, and update readme with an archive note pointing to tangled repo?
