Gathering interest for a local hackerspace group/meetup. If anyone has experience with setting up/running a hackerspace....we would love your advice! First we are just going to gather interest to see if it's even worth pursuing. So nothing official has been done so far.

SCALE is by far the best "bang for your buck" conference/expo out there. Multiple paths, community ran, and (for the last two years) sharing the space with Planet Nix! I spoke last year for the first time at a large conference and it was extremely humbling! Hopefully again in 2027!
