a post from President Trump: "I don't think the GOP fully grasp how badly they are fucking up right now"

Zero interest in politics … that doesn’t revolve around Trump. The civically disengaged who cast ballots in 2024 only because of the MAGA cult and its grand promises. They are unlikely to vote in the midterms anyway but are certain not to if they believe their leaders have let them down.

This reminds me of the run up to the last prez election. He's not acting like a guy who is afraid of an election, minus the voter suppression stuff, & I'll grant you, that's a lot. But still. Everything he does is horrible for the world, the country and even hurting his base. What's his end game?

Not to worry. Just give Trump a new term in 2028 & he'll have his Immigration Reform, His Healthcare Plan, his Infrastructure Plan, his Solution to Social Security, his Plan to Bring Inflation under 35%, a 40$/hour minimum wage and a Plan to End the War in Iran all set to sign on Jan. 20th 2029.

.... and/or the ballroom, the Kennedy/Trump centre, annexation of Canada and Greenland, tariffs not working, Iran not rolling over.. It could be about any of his hare-brained ideas that he's blaming others for not getting what he wants.

Yeah. His entire schtick is that in 2020 he was a soy boy lib before he finally saw the light and came around to the MAGA movement. Despite being nonsense to begin with, he then just tries to do this "aww shucks! I'm new to this but it seems like Trump's agenda should pass easily. What gives???"

The full post is much, MUCH longer! Swol is basically raging at the GOP for not being subservient enough to their king. Apparently the other Reps aren't helping Trump torture a sufficient number of immigrants, steal enough money, etc. So of course, Trump LOVES it.

He does. Isn’t this like standard scamming protocol? You just accuse the other side first of whatever it is you’re doing so it loses its meaning when the other finally calls it out. We should all know this by now.

Obvious first question: Is it real? If so --- WTF does Trump think he's doing? Obviously he thinks it's OTHER REPUBLICANS --- the ones rubber-stamping his every idiotic whim --- who are fucking up. Narcissism is one helluva drug.

He doesn't understand it means him too, right? OK so, if the gop in congress did what the people wanted, it would mean pushing back on him and he doesn't allow that. What was he thinking by posting this? Natalie, is that you?

Does Trump not know that he is sort of the main anchor of the entire GOP, both because he is a Republican President and because he is literally the reason GOP poll numbers are sinking?

Was Trump high on cocaine? Or was Trump psychotic on lack of sleep? Or was it Trump's dementia and/or other brain damage? Combination of the above? You would not let someone be a city councillor who is so deranged. Why let that person be president? Why vote for politicians keeping him in power?

Nothing to see here. Just our president sitting on the sidelines watching the country collapse like it’s his personal soap opera. No understanding of how he is responsible for any of it, just passively putting on the hot dog suit. One thing I can tell ya, he’s not gonna like sweeps week

His ability to completely disassociate from anything that results in negative consequences or criticism is truly remarkable. Like, in his mind, his actions have nothing to do with anything that happens afterward. It's honestly impressive.

This is so on brand for Trump. He will blame the entire GOP for the damage he has personally inflicted on the country. Ironically, they do share culpability for allowing him to get away with destroying America

This mfer doesn’t even view himself as part of the GOP anymore. They really need to start asking are you MAGA or GOP to every republican. (Like they do Dems and DSA). Drive that fucking wedge between them. Also Make them self-identify as fascists for when the blowback finally comes.

What we want and what is possible for that party’s future are very different especially when we are talking about the mindset of the half the population that is in disagreement with us. They don’t think like we do. At all.

It isn't half the population. Of 340 million U.S. residents, 170 million is half. Only 70 million votes were tabulated toward 🍊magat gop in 24. That's a fifth & still way too many idiots

I'm normally very trusting of this bsky account as accurate and rarely feel the need to fact check it. But this is missing most of the quoted message which I feel fundamentally changes its meaning.
