On the bright side, I give that fucker's tiny black heart about six more months tops. (And if I'm wrong I don't think Vance will hesitate to 25th ammendment his way into the big chair. This is going to be Succession with even shittier people.)

Thank God for the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which limits the president to two terms in office. And yes, amendments are really hard to change.

Most likely we'd get a president JD Vance with Trump controlling things behind the scenes, similar to what Putin did when Russia still had term limits and Medvedev was president.

It’s a little tiny bit HYSTERICALLY FUNNY that these MAGAts Won the Election are are supposedly SO HAPPY yet they still can’t stop bickering & fighting with every Democrat they see. WTF is wrong with them?!?(nevermind…I’ll see myself out🥺😰)

Everyone saying Obama can run against him is delusional as the GOP will find a way to block him. They'll claim that he had 2 back to back terms whereas Trump hasn't (another thing Trump is stealing from Putin).

If he's going to end up with all 3 branches and the Supreme Court there is actually no point in having elections in 2026 which wilk soften up America to accept the end of elections period . Mission creep

I come back to social media for three seconds after over a day away (detoxing after deactivating Twitter) - and I learn the clown show is in full force. Eeeesh. Back to burying my head in the sand.

This would mean appealing the 22nd amendment (which requires two third majority in congress). To get to a place where this vote would be possible would likely mean Trump has arrested his opposition in congress. We're already well into civil war territory at this point.

Two-thirds of Congress *and* 3/4 of state legislatures. Only been done 27 times in 235 years, and the first 10 were in one fell swoop when there were only 13 states.

Thanks for adding that. The only scenario where I could see the 22nd amendment being appealed right now would be one in which we already have in effect a Trump dictatorship. And at that point Obama theoretically being able to run means next to nothing.
