I'm so sorry about the recent attack on the Internet Archive. It’s disheartening to see such a vital resource targeted in this way. The work you do in preserving and providing access to knowledge is invaluable, and it’s upsetting to think of the challenges you are facing right now.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I wish I could offer some help. It's sickening when bad actors target people and a group wanting only to help others. I hope you can find a tech organization that can protect you from these goons.

This morning someone on my team asked, 'who would do this and why?' The answer is: those who benefit from our forgetting, those whose agenda is harmed by access to knowledge. For the people who want to revise history, science, and the events that describe our world, the IA is a problem.

If are looking for volunteer infosec and infrastructure folks I can help you get a pre verified bunch in a hurry. (SafeEscape.org usually supports individuals but our teams comes from corporate infosec. I’m sure some of them will be happy to jump in. )

Thank you for keeping us updated! Terrible how they're targeting one of the most valuable public service non-profits there are. Once back online, reminder to everyone to change your password and make sure not to use the same passwords elsewhere.
