It sure looks like the U.S. has spent $100 billion and left 18 Americans dead and 600 injured in order to hand control of the Strait of Hormuz to Iran and do nothing about nuclear proliferation except encourage it.

absolutely insane story, and yeah, just looking at this chart... with the exception of maybe two people, this entire class was cheating like motherfuckers

It’s worth mentioning in every news story that this deal is substantially worse for the US, and far more lucrative for Iran, than the Obama nuclear deal Trump blew up almost a decade ago.

DESPITE Trump’s best efforts the solar revolution is here and walking all over him. “US solar generation in 2025 was a stunning 28% higher than in 2024. …. Solar generation in a single month (July 2025) was more than a full year’s worth of solar generation just a decade ago.”

This entire globally destructive catastrophe is the result of this grotesque man needing, for reasons wired deep into the violent inadequacies of his degenerate pallid being, to scrap the deal that boxed up “the nuclear” because it was signed by Obama. A white supremacist tantrum rocks the world.

What a rambling, incoherent bunch of psychobabble

Melania is bringing up the Epstein files to distract from the Iran War which was started to distract from the Epstein files.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

I am not sure why Melania Trump decided to make a statement about Jeffrey Epstein seemingly out of nowhere today, but if the idea was to put the ongoing coverup in the rearview mirror it will backfire spectacularly

This is one of the more respectful things I imagine is being done to these portraits.

Pam Bondi’s portrait was taken down at DOJ and tossed in a trash bin soon after her firing. MS NOW obtained the photo. The move reflects how deeply unpopular she was among career officials. Ken Dilanian & Carol Leonnig scoop www.ms.now/news/pam-bon...

🚨 THIS JUST IN: With over 100 protests still to come, we can already estimate that at least 8 million people participated in No Kings protests today. That makes No Kings 3 the largest single day of protest in American history. #NoKings

I have said this before, but eliminating programs that teach a lot of students but don’t have many majors is like a restaurant not buying flour in its grocery delivery because people aren’t ordering flour on the menu.

I have spent the past several months studying the cutting-edge research on modern democracies that have defeated authoritarian leaders. I've learned that the conventional wisdom on the topic is wrong — in ways that have clear implications for the US going forward THREAD www.vox.com/politics/479...

I believe in giving credit where it’s due. Hang the entire Gorsuch concurrence in the Louvre. Master class in telling your colleagues they’ve lost their fucking minds.

Fulling expecting that my email will soon be full of messages from decades of former IPE students thanking me for forcing them to learn the difference between Section 301, Special 301, and Super 301. 🤣 #PoliSci

Iowa farmers are hurting because of this chaotic tariff policy that Ashley Hinson continues to support. She continues prove that she’ll put corporate greed and party leadership above Iowans at every turn. Our farmers deserve better.

Bitcoin hit a high of $126,000 last year. Then it dropped to $120K, $110K, $100K, $90K, $80K, $70K and is no hovering around $60K. More than a trillion in notional "value" wiped out. There is no Fed or Treasury ready to bail it out. But Congress is close to blessing it...

one thing the trump era has made clear, i think, is that the american people themselves are far more committed to the values of our founding documents than our elites

Did Bovino have a speck of decency to apologize, at least just for what he said about Pretti? No. Did JD Vance? No. Did Stephen Miller? No. Did Kristi Noem? No. They simply lack basic human decency and have no business being in senior positions of the US government.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."
