I love working with charcoal. Charcoal Pine is one of my personal favorites, and many people own a print of it around the world. I love hearing from people who say something like, "I rented a cottage in the mountains and this was hanging on the wall!"

I didn't have three weeks to modernize 30 year old C++. Getting the 90s codebase to compile without razzle, using modern C++, not to mention hidpi was the kind of undertaking that previously took a team. Not an exaggeration. I wanted to be able to release a version that actually still ran.

I’m a neurological mess: I like change, I change everything; but I like stability. I like chaos, I enjoy chaos; but I like order. weird is good; I’m good with weird; but I like boringly normal. I depend on routines; but I intentionally break them. Dear ADHD, and Autisim: Can you get a room please!

Hello world. It's been a while. I am deep down working on really impactful stuff. Hence the silence. Hope everything well on the weird wide web :) .

Bsky is not logging in on mobile, and I'm too lazy to reauth. This limits me to the web version: Cannot be happier. 1. No stupid "would you like to enable notifications to pour more gasoline on your ADHD?" 2. No impulse to "just scroll." 3. total control. If I want to go to bsky, it's deliberate.

The deleterious effects of not having a hobby are becoming a defining point in this cultural moment—and who is poised to help? That’s right: the autistics. Job fair day where we all set up tables explaining our deep dives and give people a hand out, a path back to society.

Folks, Ari wants an identity. Not a name: a "cryptographic" identity. Stateless by birth. Stateful by design. I might make that real today.

Beware long response coming :) Short answer: ctx and beads solve very different layers of the same problem. When people start using AI on large codebases, the biggest challenge is not intelligence
