pca.st/episode/0764... @scott.hanselman.com I'm with you on your view that prompting is not programming. Its a level too abstracted. Low-level programming, high-level programming and then there's probably management. I.e. instructing someone or something to program for you.

pca.stScott & Mark Learn To... SemanticStartIn this episode, Scott Hanselman and Mark Russinovich dive into Mark’s new SemanticStart project, exploring how semantic search can make finding Windows apps, tools, and settings more intuitive.…

Let’s goooooooo! I worked the Polycade booth today as a volunteer and brought Nolan over to visit Interim Computer Museum! Two of my great joys together - classic arcades and computers. And two class acts, Stephen Jones and legend Nolan Bushnell. Shout out to Polycade for making this meetup happen!

Nolan Bushnell visited our booth and signed a mini computer space. #prge #gaming

100%. Mortal Shell 2 is VERY Elden Ringish. The bosses are not as good, and the minions could use some variation, but the weapons and "shells" (characters) are top notch and the MAP is glorious.

“If you lead engineers and believe culture is ‘soft,’ this book will disabuse you of that notion quickly. Psychological safety, learning, and collaboration aren’t perks, they are infrastructure. Ignore them and your systems will fail, slowly or catastrophically.” - @scott.hanselman.com

Alright, I put them in a zip file here: serdarcevher.com/pedalscape-locales.zip These translations might probably be improved in the future (as I'm unaware of the full context yet) but for now, they should be mostly OK.

Ok now treadmills and walking pads. Free. No login or database. beltscape.com

I have a $30 stationary bike that I got at Goodwill and I have an old Android tablet stuck to it, but I don't have a Peloton membership. Nor do I have the interest to ride 80 miles to the beach. So I made PedalScape.com It's a local PWA, no backend at all, no tracking, just 4k bike rides.

Here's an easter egg in the new Lego Batman that I think all of you will REALLY appreciate. It's so good, I had to make a video.

Scott Hanselmann has been a role model for my entire career. As a tech geek and as an all round good person, he sets the benchmark. Today at NDC Conferences Toronto he shared a poignant retrospective and message of positivity for the future with AI.

Scott called me up last week to tell me about this, and I kinda went giddy with excitement. It is SO COOL that this stuff is being published.

The earliest DOS source code was found on printer paper in Tim Paterson's garage so we've open sourced it on 86-DOS 1.00’s 45th anniversary! This is next-level software archaeology for preservation, and plain ol’ curiosity. #DOS #RetroComputing opensource.microsoft.com/blog/2026/04...
