Went to see Samuel Beckett’s ’Happy Days’ (Oh les Beaux Jours) at the Bouffes Parisiens theatre. Catherine Frot played Winnie, and Pierre Banderet was Willie. Théâtre de l’absurde, and I agree. But I guess theatre is at its best when it challenges and leaves you slightly perplexed. This piece did.

The Lindsey Graham Act would have imposed significant new sanctions on Russia from 18 October, but allowed the President to issue waivers. He just did. To avoid screaming, I went through every provision explaining them and indicating which he waived. Spoiler: All the ones that did anything.
