Opposition Alliance, uniting nine Georgian political parties, launched a protest campaign on October 25 to culminate in a large demonstration on November 28, as parties face ban through Georgian Dream's constitutional lawsuit. 📹 Nini Gabrirchidze/Civil.ge

One of the largest turnouts in months in Georgia. This is the 697th consecutive day of protests, the same week the Constitutional Court began hearings to ban the major opposition parties.

A new excuse dropped for the Starlink/Starshield throttling in Ukraine: "Ukraine hacked the terminals." Promoted by all the bots and paid pro-russian influencers, supported by their fever dreams and zero evidence whatsoever.

Rubio knows perfectly well this is a LIE. And so does everyone else. This war was NEVER just about Donbas. Russia invaded through Belarus to capture Kyiv, attempted to overthrow Ukraine’s government, attacked the country from multiple directions, and tried to seize territory far beyond Donbas.

In Venezuela last September, I found people hoping for change, but shocked and surprised by US policy, especially opaque oil deals with former regime cronies. The system looks, one economist told me, like “a coalition of two kleptocracies" www.theatlantic.com/magazine/202...

I'd like to remind Trump administration that after Iran war started, Ukraine deployed experts and technology to the Middle East to help Gulf states defend themselves against Iranian drones and protect US bases in the region, while Russia provided targeting information to Iran.

The US is now actively sabotaging Ukraine's air defenses as Russia launched its largest air attacks: * hobbling Starshield/Starlink * ended early warnings of missile threats * refuse to approve the transfer of Patriot missiles This is collusion, not coincidence. kyivindependent.com/zelensky-app...

A baby girl was killed in her stroller today by a Russian drone strike in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv Region. Her name was Anhelina. Her mother died as well. An absolutely barbaric strike on a park full of families with children. 6 people have been confirmed killed so far, including other children.

❗❗❗Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

President Zelensky: "We have lost an ally in America. They have chosen their side. Not ours, not even in the middle. They have chosen the wrong side of history." History will remember this betrayal for eternity. 💔🇺🇦

The US is now an ally of Russia! This makes US military bases in Europe a security risk to Europe. The host countries of these bases should tell the Americans they must leave. #NATO #USAisaRogueState #YankeeGoHome

So it's Trump's word against Zelensky's on whether the U.S. has stopped providing (some) intelligence to Ukraine. Add the lifting of sanctions on Russian oil exports, buying their diesel, and an "energy cease-fire" that he unilaterally proclaimed - this is an attempt to force Ukraine to surrender 😡

Look, Zelensky signalling that the US has cut off all warning of Russian missile attacks on Ukraine.

It's absolutely not a coincidence that Russia is launching massive missile attacks to take advantage of the lack of early-warning intelligence from the US. The US and Russia are now colluding to cause maximum harm to Ukraine and Ukrainians. The US is a rogue state. bsky.app/profile/ukra...

Ukraine has NOT struck any oil refineries since Trump's announcement, while Russia continues to strike energy targets. It seems Trump still cut off intelligence to maximize casualties from Russia's missile attacks on civilians. Ukraine, take the gloves off, destroy ALL of their oil refineries! 💥🔥

theatlantic.comTrump’s Message to Ukraine Is Now Crystal ClearThe president’s actions over the past 72 hours look like an effort to force Kyiv to surrender.

PSA: Trump and Musk hate democracy, both in the U.S. and elsewhere. They don't care about elections in Ukraine at all. They simply want Zelensky replaced with someone* whom they can pressure into surrendering the regions Putin wants. *such as Fedorov

Regime Change and Corruption – a conversation with @anneapplebaum.wsocial.eu snyder.substack.com/p/regime-cha...

What worries me is that so many Americans still believe that Trump is an aberration. That everything will go back to "normal" once he's gone. It won't. Trump is just a symptom, a mirror reflection of America itself.

It will take generations of progressive leaders and radical changes to rebuild the trust of the democratic world. And that seems very unlikely to happen... The American era is truly over, and that's probably a good thing.

Trump is lying when he says Zelensky was offered many deals. Ukraine hasn’t been offered ANY deals. They've been repeatedly pressured to make concessions in exchange for NOTHING but a promise to start peace talks. Meanwhile, russia has repeated non-stop that it intends to achieve ALL its goals.

theguardian.comTrump says Ukraine needs a new leader after diesel deal with RussiaUS president suggests Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has not done enough to end war

Here's my prediction: 1. Democrats will win majority in the House and Senate 2. Trump will be impeached and convicted 3. Trump will go into exile, MAGA will hail him as persecuted martyr 4. Vance will be sworn in as President, act as a puppet for Trump

He could literally say "I am Krasnov. A Russian asset and Putin's obedient servant" and Americans would still do nothing to remove him... 😒

WarTranslated (Dmitri)@wartranslated.bsky.social

Trump stated that Ukraine should elect a new negotiating leader. He argued that Zelensky repeatedly refused opportunities to conclude the war. He asserted that strikes on Russian refineries harm world markets and US farmers. He claimed that Zelensky continually avoids compromises.

Love the Orwellian Russki newspeak he's adopted too: "opportunities to conclude the war" = "accept surrender" "avoids compromises" = "refuses to cede Ukrainian territory"
