Something of a long-shot question, but is there a good online resource on the typesetting and material culture of academic publishing (especially articles and dissertations) in the post-WWII but pre-LaTeX era, beyond just going to the internet archive and looking at what they have from this era?

I still have all sizes (s-4x) of these guys available :) These are silkscreened with discharge ink, which bleaches the image into the fabric, so once they’re washed it’s exactly the same texture as the shirt and never cracks/fades like plastisol inks can!
