Made a spur of the moment decision to run over to the discount theater and catch Wildwood. Glad I did; that movie rips! Lotta fun.

"amplify your people" is 100% the best strategy

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

I am trying to grow into a person who does not feel the need to keep a million little boxes because they're good little boxes. Each one I toss out feels like carving off a sliver of my soul.

Oh God. I'm doing some deep tidying of my office, and I found a box that's just all of my rewards program cards. Why do I have so many of these. I'm a Skechers Elite?!

Whoa the Istari came to Middle-earth way later than I would have thought. Yes it is very late and I have five wiki tabs open what’s it to you?

‘Wicker’ stars Alexander Skarsgård as a man made entirely of wicker, complete with a rock-hard wicker dick. But what about splinters? Bacteria? Degradation? Would it be advisable, from a sexual-health perspective, to mount a basket dick? We asked a gynecologist: vulture.visitlink.me/DNQwX5

For @gamespot.com, I revisited BioWare's history of queer representation and how it always strove to depict LGBTQ characters and stories with nuance and respect. It wasn't always perfect, but gaming wouldn't be where it is today without Mass Effect or Dragon Age. www.gamespot.com/articles/bio...

eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

Some days you’re singing to yourself while you stare at the freezer deciding what to have for lunch and you rhyme “taquitos” with “eat those” and you know today’s gonna be alright.

If our system of justice can determine that shooting a one year-old is justified, then we do not have a system of justice, and our goal should be the eradication of the system we have and its replacement with something better.

JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday. Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.

I'm a trans woman, my life is inherently political whether I want it to be or not, so I try to keep my social media presence as a fairly bummer-free zone. But if you live in Arizona, please vote in these midterms, 'cause I'm kinda terrified of what's on the ballot right now.

I can't imagine seeing ICE run over a man and then say, "They have their place; they can do it compassionately." there is a special place in hell for you too, right next to the murderers, abusers, rapists, and kidnappers that make up ICE.

I love Cosmo and he’s not going anywhere, but man did I underestimate how much extra time and money adopting a second cat would add. I certainly didn’t know they’d both have chronic health conditions. As the oil markets have destabilized, the world economy is now largely backed by my vet bills.
