Well this is massive: - Every non-US company sees how they can be cut off from US vendors with a snap of a finger. Non-US vendors getting free advertisement - What does this mean for US AI labs’ offices and employees outside the US? Reads pretty draconian What a mess

Do you know that using GitHub CLI (gh) may expose you to supply-chain attacks? It stores a long-lived GitHub token on your machine, which can be stolen by any malicious scripts. This is what happened in the recent Nx supply-chain compromise, which led to GitHub’s source code being leaked.

There was a talk someone once gave at work that discussed how to speak to get people people to listen. She said most people speak like an upside down triangle, meandering to get to the point. Turn it right side up, start with the point, THEN people will listen to the reasoning. Thought that was nice

This is hard to believe, but is happening: the CVE program to end later today? CVE has been the de facto way to track software vulnerabilities - from disclosure to fixing - globally. Feels like everyone will be worse off - and I wonder what will replace this, if anything will

This. Forcing people outside dev to author markdown and work with git is never going to end well 😁

Oh, I have a website where all of the content lives in the codebase! It works because there is one author (me) and I am a developer. This is a very bad idea for a government website. 😅

So I'm diving head-first into local-first. Is there an option to work with a local SQLite directly and have a sync engine handle the server/peers sync? All the options I've seen so far seem to be wrapping their own data types on top of SQLite.
