On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to the brave men and women in uniform who gave their lives for this country that we love. It is a debt we can never fully repay, but we must never stop trying.

Ready for the next pandemic, everyone?

So if the incubation period for hantavirus is 1-8 weeks, why isn’t everyone on that cruise ship being quarantined? Confirmed hantavirus cases on the cruise ship has risen to 5. “There are 23 people wandering around there, and until three days ago, no one had contacted them.” — Passenger

Earth Day reminder that Trump’s EPA rolled back regulations governing clean air, water, wildlife, and toxic chemicals. He’s pushed to open public lands to drilling and mining. And he’s gutted clean energy programs while promoting dirty fossil fuels. He’s a danger to our planet and our health.

Such a great season ends in failure.

Awful, awful loss for MSU hockey with the Frozen Four on the line, blowing a 3-1 lead with 5 minutes left, losing to Wisconsin in OT. Played with barely any energy all game. FF drought will reach 20 years, three straight years as a 1-seed.

I read the “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Most of the media apparently *hasn’t* read it because, if they had, they would be sounding the alarm about the provision in Point 1, below, which almost none of them have even mentioned. I hope this summary helps raise awareness. 1/

This is just astonishingly great reporting. All of the crises the White House has claimed over the last 14 months were planned in advance. All of them. And however much contempt you have for media outlets who reverently relayed Trump's claim to have no relation to Project 2025, it isn't enough.

NEW: Believe it or not, it’s that time of year: the Wisconsin Supreme Court election is next month. Liberals have a huge opportunity: if they win, they can lock down the majority of this court thru 2030. That means they’d have it in the next presidential race, a big democracy guardrail. Share:

Wow: under the radar special election in Arkansas tonight for House District 70, a GOP-held seat in suburban Little Rock. Democrat Alex Holladay with a huge 27-point win over Republican Bryan Renshaw. Another red to blue flip for Democrats.

The administration plans to claim that "China interfered in the 2020 election as a basis to declare a national emergency that would unlock extraordinary presidential power"—mandating voter ID and banning mail-in ballots. The premise, it almost goes without saying, is a total lie. trib.al/ofsnVi2

Behind a Porter Martone hat trick, the Spartans thrash the hapless Irish 8-2! They are temporarily in first place in the Big Ten, with the first place Wolverines still to play this weekend. It should be noted that the Spartans control their own destiny. #GoGreen
