Never forget that when Seoul, Korea removed the Cheonggyecheon expressway in 2003 and replaced it with a restored stream, 1000 acre park and improved public transit, not only did it TRANSFORM the city’s public life and economic success, but the car traffic got better. The car traffic got BETTER.

#musicsky I am far from young, and I've been listening to music for a really, really long time. I fucking love that I can still discover new (to me) artists who blow my mind. Currently listening to Erykah Badu - Mama's Gun. Life is good.

Hey #rushfamily, I have a confession that may result in my being cast into the void, but here goes: One of my top ten Rush albums isn't actually a Rush album ... it's Geddy Lee's solo project My Favourite Headache.

It’s not funny they only do this when highly distressed…

When I'm global dictator, lots of things are going to change, but I'll start with small stuff: those round takeout containers? I'm gonna standardize the lid sizes, so every time you grab a container and a lid out of your Tupperware drawer, shit is going to just fit.

#catsofbluesky I don't know anything about politics. I don't know anything about economics or trade. I don't know anything about social justice. How about you worry about that stuff, while I focus on the fact I just finished lunch and this chair is in a nice sunbeam.

Can I go on record pointing out just how fucking cool clouds are? I mean, if you grew up on a world with no clouds and then came to Earth, you'd spend the first couple months staring upward and saying "Holy shit. Guys. Are you seeing this?"

Me: *walks into the kitchen carrying a basket with the last tomatoes and beans of the season from our garden* Wife: You didn't pick the last eggplant? Me: I didn't find any eggplant Wife: It's white Me: I don't see colour

Just got back from a trip to Costco, where I witnessed somebody using "summon" mode on their Tesla. Instead of rolling their trolley 150 feet to where the car was parked, they summoned it to the front of the store where all the stantions and pavement paint say "NO STANDING" about 100 times.

2/ The car dutifully stopped in front of them, and blocked traffic while they loaded their purchases. It's pretty exciting to live in a time when technology allows us to automate our antisocial behaviours.

If Max Scherzer showed up at a playoff game and walked onto the mound and just started pitching for one of the teams, would anyone really dare to stop him?

“Today, #Canada, owing to Mark Carney’s coalition against coercion, his leading of the #middlepowers against the hegemony of the great powers, is playing a role it never has. It has become a major protagonist in #global #geopolitics and #economics.” www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti... #CanadaSky

#foodsky So I have a bunch of surplus cheddar in the freezer that my teenager refuses to eat because the texture is "off" So I made jalapeno cheddar biscuits - big ones - and he instantly ate 3 of them before he could stop and think about the ingredients.
