How much do you think we can pay the Ghost of Christmas Future to drag his ass to 3082 and just leave him there?

The mixed emotions of seeing a band you’ve followed since the beginning finally hit it big only to know it means you’ll never afford a concert again.

getting mad at the pope for not thinking the chatbot has a soul is easily the funniest thing I've read all week

This is insane.

Realizing the next Republican primary is likely to be JD vs Tucker vs DeSantis, and I genuinely think I’ll have difficulty telling them apart.

Oh he’s running. Tuck vs JD is gonna be… something

I understand that the sailor is drunk when he shouldn’t be, but why do I have to get up early in the morning to deal with it? Why am I being punished by Helmsman Henry likes Heineken too much?

I literally don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped, stalked, groped, harassed, or sexually violated in some way at some point in their life. If you choose to doubt and dox survivors, just know every woman in your life is disgusted by you.

This is the face a toddler gives you when they shat their diaper.

The new $1 coin with President Trump's face, gold-colored but struck from base metal, sells in 25-coin rolls for $61 and 100-coin bags for $154.50 as part of the U.S. Mint's series marking America's 250th birthday. The dollars are also in circulation.

Every time I see someone naming their “Mount Rushmore” of something (anime, superheroes, etc.), I think they’re doing it wrong. They keep treating it like a “top 4,” but that’s not what Mount Rushmore is. Besides the defacing (pun not intended) of an important indigenous site, I mean.

In some ways it certainly FEELS like a “Top 4 Presidents” because leaders cannot be decoupled from history, but it is a monument to Importance™️ with one random slot of personal affection. That doesn’t mean it isn’t still personal, because it still reflects your perspective of Importance™️.

So a proper Mount Rushmore of anime, for example, would be like: Pokemon (a lot of people’s first because you were a kid) DBZ (good in its own right but hugely influential on the genre) Cowboy Bebop (I like it, you like it, regularly tops lists) Detective Conan (the show I woke up at 3AM to watch)

Mount Rushmore is: George Washington: The First One Thomas Jefferson: Important to the creation and history beyond the presidency Abraham Lincoln: Definitive cultural milestone, maybe once controversial but now universally respected Teddy Roosevelt: creator’s personal fav, other opinions irrelevant

I’m so glad someone at Marvel Studios realized Professor X is not British, he’s from New York. It’s not “To me, my X-Men.” it’s, “Eyyyy, X-Men, get da fuck ova here already!”

Dante’s Inferno is such a wild thing to exist. Some guy named Dante wrote bible fanfiction that accidentally altered the mental image of the afterlife for something like a billion people.
