Two former Governors of South Carolina - one from each party - have endorsed Democrat Annie Andrews who is running against Sen. Darline Graham R-SC

The Ramaswamy ad has pushed the largest newspaper in Ohio, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, to reverse its position on endorsements. "A candidate who uses childhood sexual abuse as a weapon against the person who endured it has crossed a line that Ohioans should defend, whatever their party."

El-Sayed on Trump's cognitive tests: "I went to medical school...In my neurology unit, I would have to give that MoCA exam...The only people that you give a MoCA test to are people who you worry may have cognitive deficits. By definition, if you're taking one of those tests, something's wrong."

Once you pardon someone, they have no basis for refusing to testify… Can’t plead the 5th if you can no longer be incriminated. Trump won’t pardon junior staffers because he needs them to be afraid of going down.

If I ever disappear, whatever you do, *don’t* look for me here. I definitely WON’T be living in this adorable lighthouse with its charming hardware floors and sweeping views out over the Chesapeake. This is THE LAST place you should look. Definitely don’t look here.

All kidding aside, the level of cognitive decline required to think successfully identifying animals is a feat… If ever there was a time for the 25th amendment.

Trump: "You know, the first question -- they have a lion, a snake, a giraffe, and a bear. And they say 'which is the snake?' ... by the time you get to number five a lot of people are left out on the road ... I get no credit for it."

Listen, I get that Jessica and Dennis have been together for two years but Nick is dreamy and thoughtful and loves Christmas and what is she even doing. There are only 24 minutes left in this Hallmark movie, girl! Wake up!

Guys, Nick decorated the outside of Jess’ house as a surprise. It’s *beautiful*. My lord, they don’t make good ones like Nick anymore. The man is a *catch*. Go find him, girl. We only have five minutes left.

First, Jessica’s boyfriend doesn’t care AT ALL about her big Christmas project at the Plaza. Now Nick’s ex just waltzes in after five years thinking she can just pick him back up like he’s her dry cleaning. She doesn’t know A THING about love OR Christmas.

Oh. Em. Gee. Jess just broke things off with Dennis… but now she has no Christmas plans. I know a certain someone who has a lovely family and would love to have you over, girl. I’m just sayin’.

Democrats being +11 on a generic ballot is a massive, massive number this close to midterms. Yowza. That’s a bloodbath in the making.

The dude’s spiraling will get worse over the next week. Severe sleep deprivation plus sundowning plus stimulant abuse equals complete meltdown.

Something is off with Trump tonight. The gaffes, the glitches, the confusion are well beyond his usual. "They gave the wonderful peace prize, right? Does anybody know the name of that peace prize? They gave the Pulitzer Prize to a young lady."

The thing to understand about Elon’s obsession with Optimus is that, to him, actual human beings are just robots that don’t like him… so he’s building robots that will. I’m not being glib. The man has a severely mentally ill belief that he can build ‘sentient’ machines preferable to humans.

I was up at 4:00 am this morning talking to a young guy working the night shift at a sleepy little travel lodge. He said something so profound I’ve been thinking about it all day. “The world is just eight billion people all living their own controversies.”

Perhaps that is because Ramaswamy never ran against a psychopath who used his horrific childhood trauma in a grotesque smear ad.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Vance: "I've never once heard Vivek Ramaswamy complain about somebody being mean to him. I have never once heard Vivek say, 'You know what, they ran a very unfair TV advertisement against me.'"

What we are seeing in Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Elizabeth Holmes, et al, is the rise of the ‘technopath’. Beneath their behavior is the same old sociopathy of the world’s monsters only enabled by technology.

Question: anyone reading this live in a place where the electorate is *energized* to vote for Trump? I don’t mean just a red area that always goes red. I’m talking about the mood and sentiment of voters. I’m talking about energy and passion. Anyone seeing any for Trump where they live?

Just to be clear, Trump isn’t campaigning for candidates. He is out feeding off the narcissistic supply of crowds. The second the rallies wrap, he’ll throw every losing candidate under the bus and rip them as losers.

Trump already teeing up a pivot we are about to see kick up within the next week: Blaming republican candidates for their own losses. He’ll start calling repub candidates who are DOA in the polls ‘losers’ within a week. Certainly before the actual elections. You watch.

Hey, if there’s one thing Jesus would’ve never put up with, it’s all this ‘caring about people’ stuff.

That Vivek Ramaswamy ad might end up being the worst own goal we've seen in a major race. Platforming the estranged mother of your opponent to attack her, only for everyone to discover that the mother protected the rapist of her 12-year-old daughter and stayed married to him, is beyond despicable.

It feels like every story in my feed is about some desperate Republican candidate somehow making it dramatically worse for themselves. The spiraling is only going to accelerate. You can practically smell the desperation.

As it turns out, creating a bunch of new Latino districts and then deploying an armed, lawless militia to target Latinos in those districts wasn’t genius after all.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Last summer, the White House instructed Texas legislators to redraw their congressional maps to create five new Republican seats. Now, those decisions threaten to backfire, imperiling the political careers of multiple rising conservative Latino stars.
